You don't want to shift at max torque. U want to shift before the torque falls off. Not at peak as it will hold torque before it falls off. It's not like a power band where power hits peak and falls off
there was a test strip in gt6?? How did i never see that lol? Kinda dissapointed the drag mode is not an actual customizable mode. Game does so much good but comes up short on many places

Makes no grip with no tread at all with the Rally Techniques Classic F1 Mission is Completely Impossible due to changing wet rain tires to Soft Racing Slick Tires that they have no grip at all. Cannot make the first corner in Spa Mustang Gr.4 Mission changed from Medium Comfort Tires to Hard Racing Slick Tires. Makes it more harder to drift cause it has way more grip which is how its super difficult to pull it off. Thats the reason why not many people now are able to get any gold missions from this update. What I want in a future update, have the ability to turn off the characters from appearing cause Sarah was super annoying when she appears after another fail. Perhaps it's cause over the years we naturally expect GT to be a fun grind and we've accepted that GT should be the only one. When other games become a grind it just becomes annoying

Why couldn't they use a standard drag racing tree. Theres no indication of when the race starts besides the sound since there's a delay after the lights fill.

You’ll have to shift gears with the paddles as taking your foot off the accelerator to change with the clutch is losing you time - dang ! Can guarantee the AI isn’t using a clutch hehe
Here's a cool idea, take a car from the used car dealership with high mileage and low PP. Then, out it through the GT auto and the tuning shop and transform it into an overpowered race car.
I am using a logitech g29 and i just can't get a clean start with even the maxed out cars. You seem to be getting starrs with your tgt. I hope my pedals are not at fault.

Max torque in turbo cars is usually early in the powerband, your shifting super late and is back firing on you!

One thing I missed from GT6 was the test drag strip. I had so much fun timing 0-60’s on all my cars! This is a nice addition.
