王蒙 Wang Meng "My 16-Year Exile in Xinjiang" at the San Francisco Public Library

作家王蒙 9/13/2016在舊金山市立總圖書館演講 :《這邊風景 --- 我的新疆十六年》 Mr. Wang Meng, renowned writer, nominee of Nobel Prize in Literature in 2000,and former Minister of Culture in China, recalls exile in Xinjiang Province and inspirations for writing gained from life there. Mr. Wang Meng has published more than 60 books of novels, poetry, and essays. His works have been translated into 21 languages and published in more than 30 countries. Scenery on This Side, a novel he wrote in exile, won him the prestigious Mao Dun Literature Prize in 2015. This event is conducted in Mandarin and English.
