The saddest part for me is that Nick made me see lawyers in a more positive light. He came across like a normal dude who happened to understand the law and just cared about providing for his family and laughing with his friends. It's such a bummer to see how fake he is. He got the money and started acting like Amber Heard in a tragically ironic twist of fate.
He probably was a normal dude at the beginning. TH-cam and the whole attention saturation probably got to him. It got to his head.

It seems you confuse the idea that people do different things when the have money versus when they don't that it means they changed. No, they didn't change, they desired to do those things, money was simply the limiting factor in their life.

My thoughts exactly. Nick is behaving in the most irresponsible and immature way possible as a *father* of five minor children. And he’s being a total hypocrite. He could have stepped up and tried to negotiate with the court while admitting his failures - and this would have spared his wife of the mess and pain of a trial and his children of prolonged suffering and additional details about their parents’ s*x lives and activities - sh*t that will be on the internet forever. A negotiation of that sort would also have enabled Nick to avoid serious issues about his ability to practice law. Nick does not seem to be thinking about the welfare of his children really at all…very sad.

Big reason i have issues with alot of lawyers on youtube still supporting nick and not condemning his actions. He should receive no support until he actually owns up, wants to get better, and apologizes to everyone involved. Until then, “supporting him” is indirectly supporting his behaviors.

I have always wondered how true that actually was. You are right though. Even assuming that it is 100% true, the other stuff is pretty solidly on him.
If I recall it's a difference of orders of magnitude when it comes to how much there normally is versus money that's been used as paraphernalia. So probably the testing disregards the "background radiation" level that all money has.

I barely knew about Nick before meeting legal mindset. And the more I learn about him, the weirder it gets.
The weirdest thing is to have known about Nick before any of his wild and crazy lifestyle became known. Nick's attempt feels like a classic narcissitic reply to accusations.
Which are like "oh, I'm so bad, huh, well what about how terrible how you are? How about how bad everyone else is? You're too terrible of a person to hold me to a standard!" Classic deflection.
Then add on, "oh no one was hurt" when referring to the kids, is another classic sign, they constantly down play the severity of their issues and magnifying other people's foibles.
The only hope I have for him is that drug use can cause/exagwrate narcissistic traits. So if he gets clean and gets therapy, there may be hope that he cab recover.
However, since he's displaying the short sightedness to think these arguments should surely work, I doubt he'll get to that point very soon.

Nick's defense rested throwing out the warrant which would have invalidated the evidence gathered from his home. Now that he has lost that battle, the smart thing would be to enter a plea deal, but knowing how dumb Nick is, he might actually try to go to trial.
