OM goodness I’ve been in a bad place for weeks..depressed that I’m 75# over weight and just can’t get myself back on the bandwagon…and equally depressed knowing at 60 I’ll never get back to the body I had when I did low carb at 40. And then there’s the $$. Everything I want to do that I think will help me costs extra $$ that I don’t have currently.

Im a Christian and carnivore too. Ive been on the carnivore diet for five years. I had to have my gallbladder removed on my forth year of carnivore. On the second day after surgery i went back to high fat, one meal a day with little to no issues. I was told No Fat by doctor. I ignored his advice because doctors know very little about nutrition. Im sure it was the fourteen years as a vegan that hurt my gallbladder, not the carnivore diet.

Dr Ken Berry has a gallbladder video that scientifically explains your conclusion.
Unlike most modern doctors you observe and experiment and draw valid conclusions. The cookbook medical community says what protocol and tests do I need to run? Completely missing a correct diagnosis. Keep up the good work.

Been on carnivore three different times. This time I’m not losing any weight at all. The first time on carnivore I dropped a lot of weight very fast. This time, I can’t get out of bed. Seems there’s a handful of those who simply don’t adjust easily and struggle to get into fat burning mode. I’m trying to be patient. Hopefully I’ll be able to get up again and function, soon. The one benefit I’m getting is that the inflammation is really lessening quite a bit. So that much is good. I just wish I could stand and move around but I can’t.

I absolutely love this woman (both of them!). She is such a treat, an inspiration, you just want to hug her! I also lost my gallbladder in my 40's, as well as my reproductive system at 33 years old due to endometriosis; maybe those parts would still be here if I had eaten carnivore decades sooner, who knows? However, I now, after 5 years of eating this way, no longer have migraines, fatty liver disease, dull skin or 60 lb of extra weight. And my relatives who are on Ozempic and looking unhealthy are stunned that I am "aging backwards" at almost 68 years old without any pharmaceutical help. My only health issue is hypothyroidism and that's been controlled for 25 years now with my one medication. Wonderful interview the second time around! She looks AMAZING! 💕 ~Cynthia

Dear sisters, I encourage you both to keep going. I've been carnivore for 114 days and have seen amazing benefits. Very very difficult in the beginning due to withdrawal symptoms from carb addiction. However because I went through so much, it motivates me to not touch any carbs again! It's difficult being the only carnivore in my family's household. Lots of lovely smells and temptations - but I haven't wavered once.
I've lost 3st 11lbs, and 15 inches off my waist. But the wonderful thing is that I'm losing from everywhere in my body. All my friends and family notice it and encourage me.
My breathing is so much improved, brain fog lifting, I have stopped the medication for Rheumatoid Arthritis because I was becoming sensitive to it. Consultant was reluctant to change my medication, so I took my own decision to stop it. No new problems. I had 2 events with inflammation in certain joints, but it was gone in a week. Same with a viral cold, sinusitis and cystitis- all gone within 10 days. The miracle is that every time I've previously had a viral cold, it would set off asthma, needing steroids and antibiotics. This time, no asthma at all!! Hallelujah. I can only give God all the glory, for it was He who showed me about carnivore. Even at 72 years of age, I'm determined to get healthier so that I'm not a burden on my daughter in my ageing years. I want to live a fruitful, serving life until our Lord takes me home.

My gallbladder was removed 6 years ago due to full of stones. I was so miserable before surgery and after. I followed a mostly keto diet heavy vegetables after my surgery for 5 years. It was horrible 😢 on my digestive system. I had to go to the bathroom every time i ate. Started mostly carnivore 7 months ago. Feeling good and not going to the bathroom all the time has been an awesome side effect. Btw my gallbladder was huge and very ugly when they took it out.

That is so important for everyone to understand that healing can be a lengthy process. Sometimes we do need medical intervention, but if we are mindful and can take our time, I think there is great physical healing available if we just continue on the right track.

Wonderful! I love love love that you both share the power of walking with God. I also have struggled as long as I can remember with overeating, binge eating after dieting, water retention like lipodema, pain in my lower intestines, knee pain seemingly related to when the lipodema symptoms were worse, post nasal drip, hives.... For about 6 months I have been rebuking all disease, inflammation, pain, stiffness itch and Gluttony because that is what God calls it. It is hard to admit but its in His Word... I fight all these things spiritually and have refused to allow them to take over. I pretty much always ate clean (except in my binge moments after a time of restriction, but if i didnt do ANY restriction I woukd gain weight rapidly and get all sorts of bad symptoms like knee pain, back pain, lethargy that lasted many days, blurred vision and more. But in part the clean eating I committed to every morning kept me able to keep my weight down. I never got more than 20lb overweight. My faith and God's Word has greatly kept me in check with a commitment to start over every morning and also to exercise daily. But I always hated this Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde life with my pretty much nightly overeating and sometimes binging. Recently I became 100% carnivore, leaning toward Protein a bit more than fat and my cravings and appetite have reduced to a very manageable place!!!!!!!
I will add more fat once the 15 lb is off from this last weight roller Coaster high. This change in my appetite is huge, I didn't go a few hours of my life without trying to figure out how and what I should eat that day to keep myself from overeating or binging. But once evening hit, Mr. Hyde (escape artist) would take over and I'd do it again. I would feel gross and make myself go to bed to escape feeling gross or I would escape to a movie on tv. My energy was affected if I made bad food choices so I would overeat giant salads and cups of raw nuts....anyway very long story but I went Carnivore because of a scripture where Jesus uses hyperbole...Matthew 5:30, "if your right hand offends you cut it off" because this verse always demonstrated to me how seriously he takes sin (in my case gluttony) and to emphasize the importance of controlling one's urges. I had to cut off eating everything but meat because I am a glutton with everything else I ate. I know some people will be offended at this but it's working and I feel so free!!! Praise You Jesus for your boldness and in not walking around on eggshells but telling us the truth! My entire life is changing by implementing this one verse that has haunted me after I escaped, and overate, because I knew His Word is true. I could have played the 'victim' card because I suffered EVERYDAY MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY...craving food ruled my life took up most of my thoughts. Ruminations over what I wanted to eat or frustration over what I had eaten and caused me to become extremely lethargic. Lipodema like symptoms would worsen ( I was never formally diagnosed but my cellulite hurt, I could gain 3 lb taking a hot shower and 10 pounds if I ate bread or fries or salt in my evening meal.) I now realize that I needed a higher protein way of life and for me I had to cut out ALL that caused me to binge. Even doing high protein with some carbs doesnt work for me. I feel fueled in my body and brain. I used to take lots of high quality fish oil and I ate raw organic nuts, I never starved myself of fat or proteins but with all the carbs I ate (albeit rarely any processed food, mostly raw organic salads I made my own dressing too), I just was NEVER satiated long term or consistently day to day until now! Praise God!

My GP put me on Pantoprazole for severe acid reflux and when I asked about possible side effects, she said that over time, I would need Vit B12 shots. I was on this medication for 5 years and I started developing severe stomach pains. Went to the ER 3 times and was put on sick leave for 15 weeks. As a nurse, I felt bad and very guilty as short staff problems were common at work. I decided to quit the Pantoprazole and with the help of ACV, and the acid reflux went away after 3 weeks. But it took 3 months for my stomach pains to go away. I wouldn't want anyone to go through this.

Thank you for the encouragement!. I've been carnivore for 8 months. For the first 6 months I had constant diarrhea. I had gallbladder surgery in 1985 (I'll be 82 next Friday). Putting all the info together, I first tried ox bile - helped a little, not enough. Then I increased meals from 2 to 3 - 4 with with lower fat, and finally, diarrhea stopped. Now I no longer take ox bile, eat 3 meals a day, maintain about 70s/20s on my macros. Praise God - huge win!

I never knew about Lipodema and Lymphedema until a year ago. I definitely had seen women with the typical lipodema shape with heavy thighs, legs and buttocks but with little fat above the waist. Now I understand that probably most of these women are unaware of the condition. I wonder if the vibration plates that you stand on would help these people who have difficulty exercising because of these fat deposits.

As someone who is of Italian descent, I usually talk with my hands too. 😂 Also I went on an extended fast a while back. I started out with coffee in the morning because I wasn't ready to deal with the headache but lost the taste for it a few days in. Surprisingly, even though I dropped it cold turkey, there were no felt side effects like I normally have. You caught my attention when you said people in higher ketosis seem to lose interest.

Morning! Kelly, absolutely amazing!! Anna Marie, fabulous!! Question, how does one combat the negative effects when first starting out? I always feel like crap starting out low carb/ zero carb. I have lots of electrolytes and water. Higher fat in the beginning always gives me diarrhea and flu like symptoms. I’ve finally got my husband on board with this lifestyle, so hopefully I’ll stick with it this time. I’m kicking myself for going back to SAD after being carnivore for almost a year and now my labs are crappy and I’ve gained weight back and i don’t feel as good as I did. My tongue is immensely happy, but the rest of my body hates me. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for all you do for us 💕🥰💕

Start small, give up ultra processed food first and seed oils. Lower your carbs and eventually things will improve. I'm not carnivore but I try to do low carb. Journal what you eat (even when you cheat) will help you see where your problems are. It did get rid of my ibs symptoms after suffering for over 2 years.

Try getting rid of all processed food, grains and seed oils for good. Then gradually cut down on any sugar, starch veg etc. , over a month or more. Increase the red meat and animal fat slowly. If you still want to go carnivore, you will have much fewer intestinal issues when you do.
