This anime has so much potential. They shouldn't have rushed it. It could stay unfinished and it would be fine

Despite it’s ending I still love the anime. The ending wasn’t good but I can’t bring myself to hate the anime as a whole.

i have not seen the show before. i only saw the frill scenes. they are really well done. honestly if they actually planned out the story properly, they wouldnt have to shoehorn everything into that one episode. i mean they even ran out of time, they could even have made frill come back as one of these creatures and had a proper showdown and dialogue about the nature of suicide. it would help ai understand what is going on in a more satisfying way rather than just an explanation. like maybe one day frill actually comes to understand what went wrong, but the monsters keep coming anyway because of her actions. then the story would still be intact and there could be sequels.
but now with the fanbase split, it will be hard for them to get the funding needed to continue.
i can only imagine that i will enjoy the series once i get the chance. the animation and characters are top notch. if there are more cases of suicide in the sequels and different characters or time periods, it could be a long running property. like madoka magica. either way, i already like what i see. thank you for the video.

The ending leaves bitter after taste thought.
Probably one of the most well-animated, remarkably shallow anime I've ever seen or heard of, with bonus points for being yet another crap entry in the 'tragical girl' genre.
Genuinely, the sound design in this anime, down to the music, voice acting and sound mastering seems so unbelievably bad that its hard to imagine Cloverworks put this much effort into the animation only for every other aspect to be this bad. Kudos to the Voice Actress at least, she put in effort only for the sound mastering to completely butcher said efforts.
Hell, the scene direction feels so weirdly disjointed with the transitions, like all the momentum is lost between cuts and you're looking at a different scene entirely. Sure, it looks pretty with each cut in isolation, but this feels more like a reel of animation shorts for a director to use as reference than single, interconnected scenes.
Very mid Madoka clone otherwise, monster design is uninspired mishmashes of colours that are barely memorable and done better by Panty and Stocking..
smh Madoka was so creative, it's annoying that other anime just try to clone what it did instead of going their own direction. There are so many other ways you could twist the magical girl genre to make it dark, but it's like everyone's stuck in a rut.
