I think her death is a bittersweet one, for her to have last talk with Faputa before her passing and reunite with her daughter Irumyui in the afterlife after years of regret kinda relieving...

Then, of course, there's that famous panel during the montage in the backstory flashback where we see Vueko and human Pakkoyan in bed together (if you were wondering why Pakkoyan always looks nervous and like she wants to say something around Vueko and why she tried to save Vueko from the Curse, that's the reason).
Vueko was my favorite character, and she is actually my favorite character of all time. I just binged both seasons and the movie last night and i got attached to her so easily. Her death made my heart drop through the floor, and i dont cry to animes but this one, i was balling my eyes out.

Abyss truly gives blessing and curse, it gave vueko a blessing in a form of a child in her pursuit or should i say longing for the abyss. Yet abyss too gave her a curse in the form of a choice to keep the suffering of her daughter and live or end it all, but in the end she too is a human so she choose survival no matter how much suffering she brings to her daughter and to herself.

Actually the point of her dark circles have quite a dark story to it (no pun intended): In real life, children that are sexually abused/r*ped start having really noticeable dark circles which is called racoon eyes and even referred to as panda eyes. And this anime quite literally followed that example with her which is a cool detail to give a realistic feeling that she got raped and was sold as a sex slave.
