- Finally back online and I brought with me a new tutorial on painting a large scale wood elf queen model. In this video I'll be going over her leafy wings and how I am using color transitions and the color wheel to decide what color should go where.

Those are some beautifully done greens. I just came across this model on Etsy and then your video. I am even more tempted to get it now.
Its pretty fun to watch you paint. You use very different workflows compared to many other painters. Honestly watching the begining of the video with all the dry brushing I was like ????? and felt my stomach pulling. In the end it looked great and I was reminded that you can use all sorts of techniques to achieve a great result. Especially while sketching and blocking in colors.
I'm getting ready to paint a mini for a PC with a color-changing cloak, so this was perfect timing! Thanks so much for the demonstration and clear explanation of how you used the color wheel to move through the colors. :)

Should you always move clockwise during transitioning? For instance, could you have started with an olive yellow and gone to a highlight with lavendar?
How the heck did you glue the arms on? They keep falling off every time i try.
When is part 2 coming out?
Its also weird how we all seem to have different terms for washing, glazing, staining etc
