I have a Husqvarna 125B also.Damn thing started not to crank a couple of weeks ago.I thought it was flooded but I didn't know why because I hadn't used it in a week plus I haven't had it a year yet.It won't crank now,I took out the plug cleaned it and still won't crank.Took out the carburetor filter cleaned it,took to extreme and sprayed starter fluid in carburetor, still won't crank. If it don't crank I will be getting a Stihl
If you are doing it yourself. If you bring it to me to fix its going to be 50 to 75 labor. If ring is bad its 90% chance the cylinder is too. Add a carb kit, gaskets, fuel lines its going to be 125 to 150.
I have a 125b and a 125bvx. Both lasted maybe five years. Junk. Common issue is sticking rings. I bought a Stihl BR800 X Magnum. They last forever. Made in America though. I still have both. Both have 90~100psi compression, but won't start or run. Both have had only 93/E0 (no ethanol) in them since day one. Carbs are spotless on the inside. Replaced coil, plug, air filter, fuel filter, and cleaned the exhaust/muffler. Just not worth it. Husqvarna really let me down.
@@darylturcott I know that now. Husqvarna was good to me in the past, but things change. Not mad over it, just frustrated. All good now though. I might spend the time and money to fix them later and give them away. Have a great day!
I'm battling the same one now, but this one has 120 PSI and still won't turn over. Great spark, new carburetor, fresh fuel and still nothing. I really don't want to rip into this thing either.
@@darylturcott after reading what I've read today about this specific this specific blower that I've had five to 6 years I think I will just get a cordless one for what I do😂
Would the piston and cylinder be less likely to get build up and eventual scoring with conventional Pepsi? I'm not sure that blower runs hot enough to burn up the synthetic stuff.
I have a variety of small engine two stroke tools as a landscaper/maintenance worker in total 12 power tools two of which are Husgies the rest being Sthil, the Husgies have been a total load of crap 💩 they’ve cost me a fortune in lost hours, just don’t go near people 👍
Had a Husqvarna motorcycle (Husky) years ago, a real find machine made in Sweden. This crap that they sell is now just the name plate made in USA .So far on my 125 I have replaced one carb and two ignition coils. Now its junk!
@darylturcott Absolutely !!! The vacuum I bought my wife 9 years ago has lasted longer than my Husqvarna blower.. with little to no maintenance whatsoever. And she uses it almost every single day. I think Husqvarna just uses cheap flimsy parts. Like the tube that feeds the gas - that disintegrates after 14 months. lol

A piston ring only cost a few bucks man.
Only takes a few minutes to take that thing apart. Much cheaper than buying another $200 leaf blower

They are not the same quality as the chainsaws or motorcycles.

I worked in a commercial shop when they first came out and was greatly disappointed

Any leaks visible atound crank seals or exhaust?
Check the in-tank fuel filter. You can get a kit from Husqvarna that has an air filter, fuel filter, and plug for like $8.
Mine is leaking some. What's that issue/cause? @@darylturcott
@sandmansimms
If its black goop around exhaust it could be clogged spark arrestor. Fuel could be a loose cracked line or stuck carburetor valve.

What's the mix ratio on the Diet Pepsi?

The small homeowner husqvarna stuff is low quality. Their bigger chain saws are still good.

I totally agree!
Husqvarna is not the brand it used to be
True!

What a waste of my time watching this.
Thanks for watching
Other than the snap-cover bit there was 0 actionable information on this video... I hate to be negative but this video was of no use.
Husqvarna is a terrible brand.
They are just low end machines rebranded
There only a home owner unit and will last a long time if properly serviced

People remember the great chain saws & dirt bikes and think these will be same quality.
