One performer, a small group of excellent musicians and one helava performance. No lasers, no dancers, no electronic adjustments just a powerful talent and that's all you need.
I've seen so many shows by Jerry, that I can't count 'em. But this is one of the absolute best I've ever seen. He was sharp minded and powerful that night - so much so that he seemed to be operating on a level that lesser humans would call other-worldly and alien-like. The band on this night was incredibly tight as well.
FANTASTIC!!! I was at this show. Have seen Killer live 75 times but this is best Ive seen.I remember near the end the compere came on stage and asked Jerry to finish as he had overrun ( the show was supposed to finish at 11 pm ) Jerry ignored him and launched into a rollicking version of Whole Lotta Shakin and You Can Have Her.
Arguably even better than the iconic Wembley 81 performance. Jerry’s voice was in tip-top shape at Wembley Arena ‘82. A great mix of Country and Rock’n’Roll. Superb Piano throughout! Great to see the extra footage, that was originally broadcast on ‘Sing Country’
****** THOSE 23 IN THE THUMB'S DOWN , HAVEN'T GOT A CLUE AS RE. REAL TALENT !! ---- I WONDER ASTO WHAT KIND OF SO - CALLED MUSIC THEY LIKE ???!!! -- ***** YES , JERRY LEE LEWIS THE GREATEST TALENT THAT EVER WALKED ON TWO FEET !! -----
I wished I could have seen him play in a concert .Missed him in Holland a couple of years ago when he got sick and could not play due to a sore back .What a pity that was.
At 2:23 there is a short clip of the audience from Jerrys show in Toronto 1969(if I remember that right). Wonder why that is outted there instead of using a clip from this 1982 show to fill out the second and fewer might have seen it.
Someone....please try and find the drummer ...if he is around ...you gotta, we gotta hear from the drummer...who incidently plays so good with Jerry Lee and compliments Jerry Lee at every step!!
Rock'n'roll has two strands: one on the guitar, the other on the piano. On guitar: Chuck Berry. On piano: Little Richard. On the guitar side, no white stands out in particular, but on the piano, undoubtedly, jerry lee is the one who comes closest to Little Richard.

Somewhere over the rainbow, what a nice version from Jerry Lee! R. I. P.

I have never heard of a competitor or imitator of Jerry Lee one of a kind .
They can't impersonate him they can't even follow him.
I've seen JLL 20 times...and was NEVER disappointed...always left wanting more :)

No disrespect, but little Richard can’t even come close to touching Jerry Lee.
What's the name of the 1-st song, please?
Drinkin' wine spo dee o dee. It's a song that Jerry still sings live today.
Thank you very much!!
Just so you know, that drummer is no slouch either.
Personne peut passer derrière
sur !!!!!
Horrible sound quality...
