Gorgeous! This halau is never less than stellar, and they keep getting better and better. Exceptional kumi! (FWIW, I'm a haole from the mainland, but I've loved hula kahiko since visiting family on Oahu in the early '90s. It speaks to my heart.)
I saw that performance recently on a complete version of Merrie Monarch 'auana 2004, they were the last group to perform that year. I love that song and dance, one of my favorites. Too bad it was taken down.
