With my eyes closed, I hear Father Guido Sarducci from SNL back in the 70's. Love this guy. His enthusiasm is genuine and his happiness infectious. Great vehicle. Can not imagine the thought process at Porsche to eliminate the gas version of their best-selling vehicle. I'm out if they do that. I don't want an EV.
If? It's been officially confirmed two days ago. The next generation Macan will be electric

Nice car! But for the most price/performance the Cupra Ateca should be a winner. Same 0-100 time even though it's the EA888. V6 sound is nice though 😃
Yeah. It accelerates quickly, but that's where the comparisons between the two end. The Ateca is basically a FWD car until the back wheels come into play and even then they only get 50% of the power.
Then there's the engine and transmission, they're good but the Porsche's are on another level and the same goes for the suspension, steering and interior.
I liked the Ateca when I drove it but, truth be told, it's nowhere near the level of the Macan

the macan has aluminium screws throughout the engine and whan these weaken at 40000 miles and above, they start to leak oil. they should all be replaced with steel screws. the same problem plagues the audi engines
Warranty covers out to 60k. I agree that this should be fixed, that a company like Porsche that sells itself on reliability and engineering, should never let it happen but is not a reason to avoid the vehicle. Porsche replaced my Macan S transmission just after the warranty expired so they have stood behind their product. But really should be a problem that they eliminate at the production end!
Macan are not Audis especially not the GTS it is strickly Porsche. Audi only has like 5 percent of stuff in that Vechicle and its non essential Do not confuse a RS4 with this CUV this one is specific to Porsche. Audi wishes it could be a Porsche why they are going to work out a deal to buy the PDK Porsche Transmission back for their own cars.

Had one for 3 1/2 years with no issues. They are notoriously reliable cars.
