I got the latest version of Citra MMJ and trying to figure out how to patch a Fates mod, I have the files for both. But this tutorial has nothing in it that helps me. Not for the latest version. There's no options like this to do anything
I know it's a little late but it may help someone else. Most likely there is a hidden mods folder and you have to use that instead of creating your own, if not then you may be using the wrong installation method and the mod is partially created based on LAYERFS and is another method that also has a tutorial on this channel. If it's nothing like that and the game version (EUR. USA. JAP) matches the mod, then you will have to change the emulator to lemon since it uses Vulkan as a base instead of OpenGL. If none of this works then the mod or the game is corrupt or so outdated that it will not run.

Does any of this work with the MMJ direct storage version? I've created the load and mods folder and my mod just isn't working. I'm trying to play pokemon vandy version. I have the files in the correct place, but when I load the .3DS file, it's recognized as Omega Ruby in the menu as well as when it's booted.
I’m assuming you can’t do this anymore on the newest citra because once I’ve put the files into citra-emu/load it does nothing and it’s just regular Pokémon x. Maybe update video soon?
What if the mod is the same type as your extraxted game rom, I want to play inazuma eleven Go galaxy mod, but its mod is the same as my extracted game, so I can't really open the file
I have a doubt, when I create the romfs folder inside the mods folder, the game doesn't even open, I've already tried without a file inside the folder and the result is the same. The game is the Inazuma Eleven Chrono Stone.

Works for animal crossing New leaf , but the problem is if I put two mods by two different creators the textures of the villagers and their houses turns black , I had got a meow and bow mod ( both by the same creator) and it works perfectly , but when I put a mod which replaces a villager into sunshine all the mods started glitching and their houses became black , and another problem is that my game has become glitchy, maybe because of the emulator (IDK why).but thanks for uploading, was very helpful✨🌻

I wonder which games besides Smash 3DS have the easist way to get custom music. I've tried to attempt Fire Emblem the bscar is confusing to work with. Maybe I should try Sticker Star
Mainline Pokémon games. There is also tutorial online as for how to patch in music. They have to be .bcstm or .aac (X/Y only), and have loop. Themes like these can be found in smashcustom.

On version 1.0 of the game with the 1.1.cia update installed on top, for some reason nothing worked for me. I had to look for the "Rev.1" (decrypted.3ds) version of the game, (this is version 1.1 in one file) For Rev.1 from the downloaded Restoration archive, you only need to transfer 2 files (code.bps and exheader.bin) from the "110/citra" folder to the phone in the citra-emu/load/mods/"game id" folder Be sure to download the "Layout archive" from it you need to transfer the "layout" folder to the citra-emu/load/mods/"game id"/romfs folder on your phone If you do not have "HD texture pack" installed, then you need to download "HD HUD texture" otherwise it will not work, and move it to the folder on your phone citra-emu/load/textures/"game id" If you have installed everything correctly, when you start the game, you will immediately hear a musical signal confirming the loading of the mod. Hello friend, I am using Weihuoya's Citra MMJ build and i just want to use one music mod to replace the music in the Zelda Majoras Mask game, but something goes wrong...((( presumably the mod is placed here: citra-emu\load\mods\0004000000125500 omfs\sound\streaming\stream\002NA_BGM_FIELD.dspadpcm.bcstm (for example) in \stream\ folder located 41 *.bcstm files for replacement, but nothing works, why?! in theory (I was told so), the music in the game should be replaced with new files automatically, like this by default affects all files located in the omfs\ directory, but nothing works (( renaming the "mods" folder to "mod" also didn't help (( maybe I still need some kind of executable file, which maybe I don't have? idk(( Replacing textures with 1080p HD textures pack by Henriko Magnifico v. 1.5.0 - works great, and emulator loads 6673 best quality textures, the game looks amazing in 3x resolution, 40 fps and with post-processing SEDI effect. You have to also create a folder with ID and then put RomFS contents here, including code.ips and other stuff.

You've placed folders incorrectly. After mods folder, there should be a folder with game ID as a name.
