Yeah. I love that. The look of a guitar is quite important! That’s your physical connection to the music, so it should inspire you when you look at it!
Subtle confidence appeals to me as a musician.. Eye contact with people in the audience in a positive energy emoting your playing. Good advice, you rock!
THANK YOU, Sweetwater. The other day someone posted a really nasty personal comment on here, and you took it down. THANK YOU. We appreciate it. Too many other big channels don't care. Sweetwater rules.
When I perform, I remind myself that I am doing something most folks in the audience may not have the courage to do. Don’t look too closely at folks’s faces; some people may look like they’re bored or dislike you, but in reality, they are really enjoying you. They just have a bitch face!
I like everything she said.I always went on stage prepared and once I hit the floor I owned the stage, before an afterwords I’d be scared to death, shaky but once I was there and I knew my stuff from all the time and practice I had put in, yeah the stage was mine and I was there to put on a show for all the people came to see us lol, that’s the way I used to do it anyway.
I was the bassist in a Metallica-inspired band for a while. At that band's first show, I looked over at the guitarists, and BOTH of them were at the rear of the stage, their backs turned to the audience. Seriously? I moved to up front and center of the stage, because SOMEONE needs to be the face of the band. SOMEONE needs to engage and interact with the audience. No wonder that band didn't go anywhere, and disintegrated after a while....

This woman is something special
This was really really helpful. Thank you so much
Celisse! This was amazing advice! Thank you so much! I truly hope to hear more content from you!
Lots of presence on those guitar licks😊
She picks with her fingers. Love it!
A live show is all about the performance. You really have to sell it. Rock poses. Move around. If you’re not into it, the audience won’t be either.
Celisse is great! Be sure to check out her album!
Great feel, timing and sound.
She sounds fantastic!!
You killing it! Thank you for the awesome advice, I will definitely apply it at my next performance!

Act, interact, share. got it. thanks.
If you are having fun performing the audience will have fun. If you are working too hard it is harder to enjoy

I think I'm in love
She's grooving....

sweetwater should mic her up better.
All of that gear and no microphone
Just sat through 45 seconds of guitar player making unearned guitar face. Is that tip one? "Have boatloads of patience"?
SKIP
Unearned guitar face? Are you upset cuz she's better than you? She's obviously feeling the notes you dork.
@@CL8ON6 Yup. And she's also the one featured in the video. Some people just like to lash out at the world. It makes them feel better.
