On the other hand, Cyberman does not attack the 12th Doctor even when he´s standing close to them. They probably overwrite their deffinition of a human (2 hearts back to only 1) through out the hundreds of years of development and upgrading humans. So the only one left was Bill who known him and recognised. She shot him in the back. Also if she have fought enywhere else, she would blowned up with other Cybermans. There she stood next to him in the eye of storm...
Yeah there’s something really heartbreaking about Bill not even realising what she’s doing - and the Doctor trying to remind her who he is which is why I always thought that was what was happening onscreen!

This is a great piece of music, though it wasnt bill potts who shoots the doctor, its another cyberman as bill was fighting others elsewhere.
