This is an excellent series of six episodes, with above average writing, characters, acting, and sound effects. It's good of you to combine them into one long recording.
A question for my U.K. friends regarding the location of the radio telescope . . . Is there an actual Isle of Skarra (sp?) in the Outer Hebrides? The professor says it's located 40 miles west of the island of Barra, but all I can find is empty ocean.
It sounds like a mixing of Barra and Skye. Not sure, but it's my only thought. I have heard of these things before where the author makes a place name by amalgamating two real names.
I can hear voices as in the background as if picked up from another station during recording? Am I right? And where and when was this recording made please? Really enjoying it too.
Brilliant drama.. highly recommended listening... thanks for sharing... kind regards Dave 😁 👍👍👍👍👍

@@johnlmillington3126 I know what you mean. I've done the same thing, sometimes starting at different places in the story.

Thank you , a great play, I recorded it from radio , each episode a cliffhanger! The professor gets grim at the close of each one.

Thanks for this…I’m not quite sure of the word for it but I think it’s, weirdly, charming and pretty exciting, too
yes, it has got an "old-wordly" charm to it.....almost quaint.....suitable for those of us fed up with extreme violence
