houdini vellum simulation two layer

Simulated in Houdini 18.5 using two passes of simulation.
first pass to control the overall moves, and a second one to increase the details.

Look up VAT, vertex animation textures. Houdini has a whole slew of tools to do just that!

you are right, it does not look too realistic, anyhow, you can modify any values and make it better, that is the idea: have a setup to play with.

yep, it is true.. but the scene is for practice your CFX skill, tweaking values and trying to get a realistic result... so you don't have to worry about cloth and character modelling, rigging and so on, just trying to create a better simulation, or even modify the setup.
