That's the video with their song at the Peace Festival
• Kris Kristoffersen and...
... I was playing around a bit after I had noticed both songs have pretty similar arrangements and that it may work to put them together the way they did at their performance in Oslo at the Peace Festival 2008. I really love this combination so much I wanted to share it with a few people at least. These are beautiful arrangements of these great songs, aren't they?
Chiwoniso wrote the words of the other song, music is all Kris.
The songs are from the album "Make me a channel of your peace - The Nobel Peace Prize 100 years" from 2001
The first part is The circle - 1 Prologue,
Chiwoniso's song is called The circle - 2 The voice of conscience,
and I mixed it with The circle - 4 Song for Al Altar and Los Olvidados

Rest in peace Kristofferson, I've been listening to this song a lot recently and I never would have been introduced to Chiwoniso if they hadn't performed together. Both of them are incredible people taken from this life that'll never be replaced.
Warms my heart to know there are so many people that love and appreciate such compassion as sung by KK
My heart swells with pride to see this musical genius representing Zimbabwe. I knew Chiwoniso and went to high school with her late husband, who was a superstar with his band Andy Brown and The Storm. A great couple and two incredible musicians gone much too soon. RIP.
Thanks for putting together this beautiful arrangement. Super Majestic. Daaam good job. 👍
That was amazing. Perfect harmonizing. There will never be another KK.
Thank you. I'm pretty proud of my job on these songs here. It works the way I hoped it would...

It's beautiful to hear the Shona language.

Ein toller Song mit den Beiden.
These two duet together beautifully. So sad that it seems to have been only on the one occasion? He is such a wonder at putting art and social concerns together without compromising either.

Wonderful! What happened to her? She has such a beautiful voice
Maraire died on 24 July 2013 at South Medical Hospital in Zimbabwe, aged 37. According to her manager Cosmas Zamangwe, she had been admitted to hospital 10 days earlier suffering from chest pains. The cause of death was the result of suspected pneumonia, just a year after the death of her ex-husband, Andy Brown, also a prominent musician. The couple left behind two daughters.
On September 12, 2015, the younger of her daughters, 15 year old Chiedza Brown, committed suicide. Chiedza was also a musician in the Mbira tradition like her mother and an accomplished singer.
