Hello. I’m a family nurse practitioner. Fish oil is good for decreasing triglycerides but I don’t recommend them to people with high LDL because there is some concern that the supplements, but not the pharmaceutical or fish oil from food can increase LDL. Red rice yeast is used widely in other countries for it LDL lowering abilities. Supplements as a general statement are not regulated in the same way as medicine by the FDA. That being said be sure to use supplements from companies that are reputable and consider a statin if your LDL is over 190 as long as you don’t have other risk factors (I.e diabetes, strong family history of stroke and heart attacks, or high blood pressure). I hope the numbers start moving in the right direction and that’s for the videos
Yes! that's why I'm using the fish oil from sardines and not salmon - I wanted to see if it makes a difference in the numbers as someone who's taken fish oil for years! and also, totally understand about the FDA supplements vs. medicine. I'm just trying some more natural things before they try to convince me to go ON medication for it (which I really don't want to do)
I use Ascent protein for years now (just vanilla or chocolate) but always wonder, do I switch it up? Thanks for responding! I’m more of a plain protein gal who adds her own stuff 😊

Mine were also elevated even though I’m relatively healthy, but my cholesterol and triglycerides are normal now that m hormones are normal! So I would get yours checked if you haven’t already, just to see if that could be why too!
The swollen you've got below your eyes is called malar bags and it's caused by too much botox injection in the crow's feet area. I had the same issue.. My surgeon injected me a product called hyaluronidase and the appearance is better now!!

The hamburger dinner having 9g of fat seems so low. The hamburger has fat in meat and cheese. The dressing for the salad plus the avocado. Seems like more fat... maybe the dressing is fat free... and the cheese fat free too??? Looks delish though... cant wait to eat other food. Trainer has me eating the same foods every day (but weekends I can eat different foods but eat healthy choices he said). 😊😊

I have had hormones checked recently and they are normal
If your HDL is good and your triglycerides are low, dont worry about LDL.

I've had like 4-5 rounds of hyaluronidase now! it's definitely from the filler - i've had an ultrasound under my eyes to confirm it's migrated.
