Hi Faith! I just discovered you today and so far I have created some templates that I am going to reuse. I'm not sure if this is a little tip you know about, but if you click on the position button, you are able to adjust the size of the item by inputting the dimensions in the width and height. It makes adjustments just that much faster.

Amazing tutorial. TY. Do you have a suggestion for how the customer can print the post-it notes?
You gotta first print out a sheet with just the 6 x 3 by 3 inch blank squares with outlines. Then paste the post it notes on each of the squares before feeding the page back into the printer to print the designs you want. :)

Hi Faith, 29:44 when I bring the upload section 29:45 which is to bring our butterflies in there, I got blank, I tried very thing and can’t see our butterfly, I also try to move position but nothing happens. Could perhaps tell me what i could do different to get better results? Thank you
You are a great teacher. Just one question I don’t see the black rectangle with the measurements. Why?
Thank you for your kind words. I'm afraid it's difficult for me to troubleshoot. However, when you select a square under elements > shapes, and then you try to drag and resize it, you should still be able to see the dimensions of the shape as you resize the element. It's not something you can toggle on or off. It will automatically appear when you resize your shape element. Hope this helps!
Thank you, this was wonderful! Do you have any tips for keeping writing lines from shifting upon download? I have tried grouping them, locking them to the page, and a combination of both, but when I download the file as a PDF, the writing lines have shifted all over the place. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. Thank you.
I'm not sure why that is happening. It shouldn't. Grouping and locking them should't affect the lines actually. But if the printing should look the same as your preview. I'd try refreshing the page and re-downloading the PDF, flattening it.

Hi Faith!
I am just starting out in stationery in CANVA hoping to sell designs through places like etsy but have been facing the biggest challenge with the printed product not looking as on the screen.. colours are not as vibrant, looking a bit dull and the print looks different on all printers which makes me insecure as I do not want my future customers arguing about quality/colors looking not as pretty. How do you prepare files for print to make sure the final print matches the screen? Any tips would be highly appreciated!
I'm afraid there's no way to guarantee that because it depends on the paper you use and the printer settings. That's why most sellers indicate in their product listings that the final print quality could be different from what you see on the computer because of these variables.
Hi what will be the difference if we just create 3600 x 3600 instead of 1200 x 1200? Thanks 😊
The 1200 x 1200 is like mosaic that will fit the entire 3600 x 3600. It also helps you put the pieces into a larger picture so that you can see it's really a seamless design. In this case, you can start with a mosaic of 400 x 400 or 600 x 600. The smaller your mosaic, the more intricate your design will be when you are putting up the final digital paper. Does this make sense?

We can only have 5 slots for etsy. Did you use a zip file? It's confusing to me.
Yes, you can upload a zip file.
If the file size is too big, you'd need to upload your file on a cloud platform like Google Drive or dropbox and then copy the download link to this file. Then create a separate word document that gives instructions to your customers on how to download your planner and then insert the download link in this word doc. Save it as PDF and then upload this PDF file onto Etsy. =)
