Yo, I have an e87 exactly like yours but with 80k on the clock. I’ve blacked the grill, put on M5 18 inch black alloys and got the callipers done blue. I really like what you’ve done with yours and was looking to modify it further in the easiest and cheapest way as I’m currently a student.
I never really appreciated the difference with Msports but this shows the difference between a bogo standard and an Msport, one of my cars is an E88 Msport and it does look good. I've been toying with the idea of a 1M bodykit but as there never was a 1 M convertible I think it might look shit

Bro idk if you've ever had this issue. But my e87 burns engine oil way too quick and a lot of smoke comes out the exhausts. What can I do to solve this problem? Any suggestions?
E82 (coupe) m sport bumper, with a maxton splitter. OEM fitment, quality.. possibly find one already painted... Fortunately/unfortunately with the later n47 engined 1ers there's plenty being broken. We own the same combination of cars too... My Missus has an 8j and I have an e87 😅😅
Look for the Performance Bumper it's (I Think) one of the Best Bumpers for the BMW 1 Series, and it Cost not More like an Good 1M Duplicate 😉 and the Performance Bumper got Cool Swords for the Front to 😁... But if you Go for the 1M Bumper, than make it like the Real M Front (Duplicate M Fenders for the e81 Series 😉) it looks more Aggressive 😜, better like just an 1M Front
Are you not having repair issues with the E87? I'm looking to buy one, but I'm worried that I couldn't save up anything for doing any customization because everything would go to repairs and maintenance.

They don't look right because the E87 doesn't have the 1M front arches.

AJ No worries. No. Just the 1M has wider arches because it has a wider track than the E87.

for the led rear lights could you just have switched the bulbs around instead?
Yup, just about to say that - the LED is polarised. There's a +ve and -ve. So you should have just reversed the LED in the bulb holder

They are cheap replicas. CSL wheels are 19" not 18". Get your self some other wheels, proper wheels that won't crack on a pothole.

Other than maintenance, my E87 M Sport has cost me £380 in 5 years - I had two reluctor rings and sensors replaced.

7:40 - if you're flipping the connector, couldn't you just flip the bulb instead? That would also reverse the polarity which would make the LED work
