Robotic surgery at the RUH

Patients at the RUH are now seeing the benefit of the investment in robotic surgery across our local health system.
Thanks to major investments surgical robots have been purchased by the RUH and GWH in Swindon and are already in operation, while Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust will begin using their new surgical robot later in the year. A surgical robotic is fully controlled by an experienced surgeon. This cutting edge technology allows surgical teams to perform complex operations with greater precision, smaller incisions and increased magnification.
