“I know Becky Chambers isn’t for everyone but she is for me and I love her” SAME!! I really enjoyed this list, and so many of these books are on my TBR ❤
Hey Sam, long time listener to your thoughts on tomes here! Just wanted to send the love and let you know how much I appreciate that you and your content. Hope you get as much from it as we do. Wishing you the best in 2023 and your coming professional ventures!
Empire of Gold was so good! Though personally Kingdom of Copper was my favorite in the trilogy. And Iron Widow is one of my best books of last year too.
juniper and thorn was so, so difficult to read but also liberating in a really weird exhilarating way. ava reid is truly unmatched in atmospheric storytelling
Great list! I'm guessing you may already know this, but while we hopefully wait for another book in the Master of Djinn world, there are 3 prequel novellas, which I personally loved and highly recommend in case you haven't read them.
Two of my favorite books that I found randomly: The Ivory Key by akshaya raman. Actual family dynamics where they all have their own agenda instead of found family dynamics. Highly recommend! Suburban dicks by Fabian nicieza. I know you're not huge on mysteries but it was very much up my alley. (Also best title)
You are reminding me I always mean to try the Daevabad trilogy...maybe I should make a challenge for myself to finally try a bunch of series I have been putting off for years...Can't wait for you to get to the Oleander Sword and hear your thoughts given how much you likes The Jasmine Throne
My fav are: Her Majesty's Royal Coven by juno dawson & The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna I think you would 💗 both too. Xxx
Since around 2 years ago you're one of my favorite booktubers and looks like we share good taste- Chambers, Reid, Harrow and more!
