I agree! The only fantasy I’ve ever read in my life is Harry Potter and I’m 28. I’ve started purchasing some that my favorite booktubers recommend, but I’d like to know her opinion on where to start.
I’ll definitely think about it! I would recommend starting with YA fantasy to ease in, since it’s tends to be less epic. But if you want to jump straight into adult epic fantasy, my first was The Hobbit and I loved it.

Dead Silence was the BEST. I loved that book so much that it sent me on a space horror readathon. I loved The House Across the Lake, too. I cant wait to read Grady Hendrix's latest. Especially now that I know it was on your top list!

my favourite read of 2022 was Our Wives Under The Sea - Julia Armfield I reread it this month and reiterated my undying love for it, that book takes up a large chunk of real estate in my head

I hated house across the lake with the passion of a thousand burning suns. Hate hate double hate loathe entirely. Every single other Sager book I’ve given a 5 star rating. However I also was absolutely obsessed with daisy darker. Definitely a book I’d sell my soul to read for the first time again because that twist just got me. My best of the year books. This was the year I read ACOMAF, which was my absolute favorite of the year! But I also enjoyed The Love Hypothesis. Something Wilder, and Anatomy: A Love Story.

Can confirm - I liked Lock Every Door, but not Home Before Dark, and I didn't like The House Across the Lake. It was around a low 3 star for me. I love your videos!

The main focus is on a young hero and heroine. Both with physical disabilities and how they overcome them. It's got a great message especially about perseverance. It's a real quick listen on SCRIBD 😃

I would say The Luminous Dead has a similar vibe of space/sci-fi horror! And omf you need to finish it because it’s SO creepy!!
