This is album of the year for me, and I really thought Sleep Token had already locked that one down. In swoops Caleb. Love the posi-core shift for Beartooth
Take me back to Eden still takes the cake for me, but The Surface is a close second. my personal third is Where do we go from here? by Asking Alexandria.
Hi Steve, I love your reaction vids mate & I honestly think this is the best album I've heard in years! I have always said Incubus S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is my fav of all time but geez this 1 could be up there in time. Caleb is a fucking incredible musician. We all have opinions & favourite genres etc, but he just makes you feel & the music is ridiculous... 👏👌
Thanks Josh! Mate, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is a redonkulously good album. Great call. Yeah Caleb’s song writing and authenticity at the core is such an epic combination. And the tangible practical positivity laced through these songs is exactly what I need right now. I can’t stop listening to this album.
Haha same mate. Life has never been harder, so what's better than some uplifting lyrics, a few death growls & a banging riff or 2 to ease the pain ay!? 😄
Fantastic album. A Big Boy defining moment for Beartooth. It's great to hear their maturity. I really like every song. "What Are You Waiting For" was a very relatable and motivational song for me. Is it just me or does "I Was Alive" remind you of Jimmy's Chicken Shack?
@@SteveOGRock XD obscure late 90's American alt rock band reference. Thanks for being interactive with your adoring fans Steve. Keep up the good work sir!
Is it just me or are the guitar bends in the bridge on “What’s Killing You” a callback to The Last Riff? Probably incidental but they sure sound like it. Great reaction!
This is a really good album but I know for a fact that my favourite band unprocessed when their album comes out December 1st it will be number 1 for me the 3 singles they have released so far are so good.

I give that to HARDY'S "the mocking bird and the crow " album....his colab is what brought me here...this album is good but HARDY'S is better

Yeah, these two albums were my whole 2023. I still think I’m leaning to sleep token, but by a very close margin!
Look The Other Way hits so hard, especially with the raw shaky vocals in the last lines.
Great review! This album is absolutely stunning. I'm so impressed with it. It's still on repeat for me.
Such a great album but the title song "The Surface" is my most favorite. Just hits the feels hard
Yeah, top 3 for me for sure
Really interesting reaction!

You're doing great work friend!
Look The Other Way broke me. Still sitting in my car crying after ten straight listens.
Bro. I was counting down the days for the new Blink-182 and Asking Alexandria, but this just takes the cake for me...
Yeah this album is phenomenal
Cough, I haven't listened to Beartooth before today. Whoops!

I’m afraid I’m not familiar with the reference 😅
But yeah massive moment this album.

Ngl i had to be at least 3-4000 of the plays for Riptide the first couple weeks it was out 😅
Yes, yes they did!

STEEEEEVE PLEASE CHECK OUT THROWN THEY RELEASED A SONG A FEW DAYS AGO CALLED ON THE VERGE YOULL LOVE IT
I think I’ve only heard 1 song by them before and I thought it was decent but didn’t totally grab me. Thanks for the nudge though, I’ll consider it ❤️
Could it be? Could I possibly be first?
38 minutes well spent...
yes is perfect, but it's not rock. Everything with screams involved is not rock
Everything which is a sub-genre of rock is rock. Metal music is rock.
10000% agree. They aren’t a rock band. Metalcore as fuck
