    So very accurate, they want all control, even over your feelings. Toxic doesn't fully describe it.

    Want to know if someone you just met is a narcissist? Set a boundary. I do no calls/texts after 9. Every narc I ever met has broken this rule.

      They'll always test your boundaries to see what you'll allow them to get away with. Give a Narc an inch and they'll take miles!!! Don't give in no matter! Enforce consequences each time they don't respect your boundaries. The boundaries are to protect yourself emotionally, mentally, and physically from people. Don't explain, justified, or even defend yourself from their words they'll throw at you for enforcing consequences of their own behavior and actions.
      And the best consequence for a narc is no access to you! Limit their access to you and you decide when you will to talk to them again. And trust me, they'll say or do anything to get your attention once you enforce it. Don't believe nothing they say! It may be hard if y'all have children together or you really can't do the no access. So, the next best option will be to to always keep your convos very short and to the point. Stay on topic, keep to the facts, and only respond logically. It can be very hard dealing with a narc but boundaries help alot cause afterwards you'll feel somewhat better about yourself.
      Hope this helps!

    I set boundaries and she just ignores them.

      Do you enforce the consequences of no access to you when she ignore them??? Do she violate your boundaries and you don't confront her about it?? You need to enforce consequences for a narc when they violate your boundaries! Don't explain, defend, or justified your consequences neither. Stand firm on your boundaries too!
      For example, you tell her no calling you after 10pm and she still does it anyways and continue to be on the phone with her after 10pm! She will do what you allow her to do to you! Don't be scared of her cause Narcs are really cowards hiding behind their defense mechanism mask of wanting to control and have power over others. She will do what you allow her to do to you! That simple! 🤷 You only have control over how people treat you!!

    Serious question, how do you know if you or a loved one is a narcissist?

    • @Pegasus77753
      @Pegasus77753 ปีที่แล้ว

      apparently that you're even asking the question is a sign. It's very confusing.

      @@Pegasus77753 How do you mean? It’s confusing to be able to tell if you or someone you love is one or it’s confusing to explain?
