And the best consequence for a narc is no access to you! Limit their access to you and you decide when you will to talk to them again. And trust me, they'll say or do anything to get your attention once you enforce it. Don't believe nothing they say! It may be hard if y'all have children together or you really can't do the no access. So, the next best option will be to to always keep your convos very short and to the point. Stay on topic, keep to the facts, and only respond logically. It can be very hard dealing with a narc but boundaries help alot cause afterwards you'll feel somewhat better about yourself. I went to a x narc friends for dinner with another friend. During dinner this idiot would keep asking me why i only took a few tablespoons of applesausce?! Then she ask why i wasnt eating all my meat? It was like a Mommy asking!! After dinner we all said our goodbyes snd she text i didnt say goodbye and why? She text " are you mad?" I was emotionaly drained
