I just purchased an APPLE iPHONE 15 PRO MAX and began my search for the TOP iPHONE PHONE CAR MOUNTS on Amazon. The TOP 10 to 15 IPHONE CAR MOUNTS were a combination of WIRELESS CHARGING CAR MOUNTS and stand-along MAGNETIC MOUNTS. They attached either as a VENT MOUNT or 3M Tape Mount for a sturdy and secure connection. The MUST HAVE PHONE CAR MOUNT I chose was the Steelie Orbiter Plus. IMO this is the EASIEST CAR MOUNT to use if you already have the Steelie setup. The phone mount will be used in my Ford F150, my Nissan Hardbody and rental cars. The steelie windshield mount is a perfect go to for UBER, UBER EATS, DOOR DASH and delivery drivers.

Thank you for doing a detailed video on Steelie's Orbiter Plus! It was hard finding information on how to hook up my used iPhone 13 Pro to the car mount without having the Steelie buttons on the case or phone.

There’s also wireless cooling charging since wireless charging creates heat. On warm days very noticeable. And the biggest advantage of slow charging vs fast charging is the longevity of the battery. Those wireless charging and cooling (peltier) devices usually have a 17mm ball joint mount so anything with a 17mm balljoint can be used to mount it in your car.

Such a coincidence I just upgraded from an iPhone 10 as well but chose to get the I phone 15 Pro “small hands” I’ve been eying and wanting to check out the Steelie products for some time now.By the way thanks for making this video it’s one of the best I’ve came across so far 👍🏻 with that being said I do have a question or two. So far up until I seen your video I was in debate on which Steelie is right for me it was between the original Steelie or the Steelie plus. although I have the smaller phone “15 Pro” I was gonna go with the Steelie plus because they advertise that it’s double the strength then the original with that being advertised I figured the plus would be my best option because I don’t want my phone moving around while driving. But now that I see your video I’m almost thinking I should go with your set up especially after watching the part where you briefly talk about your last setup.i was wondering if you could elaborate a little more on your last setup and what Steelie it was either original or the plus and why your not using that set up this time around…Thanks in advance

On the "Original Steelie" you have to stick the socket mount on the back of your phone. It works awesome, but has to go on the back of your phone case. With the iPhone 15's, which have magsafe, that'd cause issues when using anything magsafe as well as wireless charging. The socket mount would be in the way. The "Steelie Orbiter Plus" has a mount that sticks to the metal ball, and stays there. The mount then works with magsafe, meaning you don't have to attach anything to your phone case. It keeps the phone nice and sleek.

Have you used the official Apple clear case with magsafe in this video? Or is it some other brand?

The case I used wasn’t the official apple cases - I got that one from Amazon.

Do you have to use a MagSafe phone case with this steelie mount ?
My phone case is not a MagSafe but I do have a 14 and I do want to continue to use a phone case.

If your phone is magsafe, and your case is not, I don't think the orbiter magnet will work through the case. You could attach a steelie magnet to the outside of the case, like in the clip of my old case, and use the steeling ball without the orbiter. Basically the one I showed in this video - th-cam.com/video/-ht3QpTrKSk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UnEjnG8FKLJux2Tf

My 15 pro max won’t charge with MagSafe or directly connected to the cigarette charger adapter. It charges fine indoors, but won’t charge in my 2016 Audi Q5 no matter what I try
