This is like the precursor to Severance. I agree completely with Mike. Creating a sentient copy of yourself & making it a slave is terrifying to me.

Jon Hamm is literally perfect in this episode! Nosedive’ S3 E1 is right up there in my top 3, and Jodie Foster directed one of my other favorite episode ‘Arkangel’ S4 E2

Another phenomenal episode similar format to this episode but different is Black Museum! INSANE episode! 🤯 Two episodes won multiple awards too, USS Callister and San Junipero, you MUST react to them too as they are great 😊
Other amazing episodes that are definitely great to react are Hang the DJ, Hated in the Nation, Striking Vipers, Nosedive, Joan is Awful, and some others.

After every Black Mirror episode, I have to take a good minute. It’s so well written and the far fetched concept is so believable, and it shows like how human nature in this technologically advancing world could unfold.

okay i already commented this somewhere else; allegedly the cookie story in white christmas was going to be worse (spoilers below)
according to broker and jones in an ama in 2016; “In an early draft of ‘White Christmas’ Oona Chaplin’s character (Greta) had a kid - there was a scene in which ‘Cookie Greta’ saw ‘Real Greta’ reading a story to her son, and then realised she’d never hold or truly ‘be with’ her kid again. But it was so totally bleak it overpowered everything else so we GOT RID OF THE KID. (She was called Greta because there were two of her and ‘Greta minds think alike’. Ha. Ha.)”
I had a feeling about the kid not being his because the wife was so stand-off with him, and threw it away plus the way she was looking at his friend the wife was a real bitch and honestly caused all of it if she was just honest about what she did , I find it super fucking weird to have somebody help you get a girl while their literally looking through your eyes basically manipulating the outcome 🤷🏾♀️ and the thought to basically take out your conscience and put it in a little egg computer is the definition of cruel then if they doesn’t want to do it they are basically put into solitary confinement.

From this new season my favorite is Loch Henry. People gonna hate me for this but I liked more than Beyond The Sea. Mostly because BTS dragged a bit and lost interest at the middle, and the general plot can be guessed in the first 10 minutes whereas LH grabbed my attention from the beggining.

Ahh some of the original BBC black mirror episodes were the best (seasons 1-2 & this) then Netflix took over so 3 & 4 were meh also the bandersnatch or something episode wasn't that good
