Thanks for the excellent tutorial. This is on my list of things to do. You have given me the confidence to change my brakes. Thank you from Indiana USA.
5:20 You just have to love this: Fear of wife (what if she finds out), which leads to ingenious solution (just give it a good wash and put it back). And then everything is good :)
Great video - thank you. Very well made. Any tips on loosening frozen caliper bolts? (About 2:03 in your video). I’ve tried vise grips, channel locks, PB Blast.. next step is extraction tools.
miss your vids, very professional edits and instructions....ques4u: 1. did u hav to grease the caliper frame pin where the pads loop on to, to helup the pads move back and forth? 2. did you also make a video of lubing the clutch cable and front/rear break cables? I know you made one for bleeding brakes which was great! cheers
Hi thanks. Yep I did put a little dab of copper grease on the pins. I have lubed the cables but didn't film it, may go back and do a quick vid if you want
@@docsworld9707 thanks doc, many wld appreciate that trust me, lots of kiddies and blokes screw that topic up, fluid everywhere......., ur vids are professionally done, nothing a miss.....yeah cable and front brake ( not sure if rear brake needs cable lube?)..hope 2c that soon!
Hey love the vid quick question. Do you ever get a rattling sound after you squeezed the front brakes for a little while while stopping at a red light? Sounds like a duck.
Thanks for the comments but I've been cleaning my bikes brakes for over thirty years this way and have never had an issue providing they are dried properly.. again been using these brands of brake pads for years and never had any problems considering they are manufactured at some of the same factory's as much higher priced pads.

Boa tarde, não entedi nada do que você falou, mas você trocou juma pastilha de freio ainda nova por outra.
Nice video. One question is a, how easily you can push these pistons open by hand or tool?
It's hard by hand your better using g either a wind back tool or a gclamp
Great video, thank you, everything is clear without translation into Russian. I'll change it tomorrow. How to lubricate the caliper guides?
A little grease use ur finger but don't get any on the pads or disk
