Great blower, had my ‘86 for a couple of years, after my old BG55 gave up after about 20 years. I use Stihl oil, and as soon as it’s warm enough, it’s full throttle. I have cleaned plug and air filters, but have never replaced a plug. Air filters yes, though.
Great blower had mine for over 4 years gets used almost every day as I work in garden lawn care. I’ve only changed the filters ie are and fuel once and spark plug once in that time. I run it on Penrite semi syn. I buy it at supercheap when they have 30 percent off, it doesn’t clog up the spark arrestor like the stihl oil.
I just bought one today. I like it it’s lighter than the craftman I had before. The only thing I didn’t like is when your hand rides to the front of the holding handle you can feel the heat of the motor on your index finger to the point that you need to move your hand back a little. This can be annoying when using the blower for long a long time. I had to move my hand back a few times. Easy fix to this is to maybe wear gloves
Hey! Lawn mowing or any service business can be very profitable but it depends on a number of things. Pricing jobs right, getting work through advertising / word of mouth and doing good quality work. If you’re able to do those 3 things well, you’ll do well🙂👍🏼 hope it helps

Still haven’t had a problem with mine. However I have found that after a year or so you need to clean the spark arrestor otherwise it blocks, wont start, runs rough and bogs down when pressing the throttle. Worth a look if you haven’t checked this. Might save you some $
I regret ever buying that. What I bought is real junk . Brand new, I have to crank it for over a minute to start it. Brand new. If I ever buy a blower again, I will get an echo blower . Really bad experience with that . Never again.
Just bought a used one - looks like it's been through a war, but it starts first time and runs fine 👍

I use one for blowing off sidewalks and driveways after mowing , don’t need the backpack till leaf season
