Here's a mashup of what I got at Folkston RAILWATCH 2021. I didn't get everything because I was talking to so many old and new friends. I had a fantastic time and cannot wait until WINTERWATCH in December.
I like your narration Danny. Not being up to speed on all things "trains", I find it useful. Many rail fans don't talk and it leaves us wondering what we are watching. Having spent 30 years in the trucking industry and seeing all sorts of railroads, it is nice to learn about the backbone of this nation.
Its awesome thetes senior citizens kids young bucks ladies and middle age guys like me just having a good time talking eating watching trains . Need more of this.
I don't live down by Folkston, but I do wish to get to experience this in person one day. Plenty of trains, wonderful people, and some of the best food there is I hear! It is always a joyous occasion when railfanners all come together for a day!
Attended many of these, when we lived in Florida. We were 2 hours away---we made many friends, because of Folkston--regular visits, were common for us. Miss it and all our railroad buddies!!!!
So nice seeing people out and about enjoying the trains and community.. that’s what it’s all about! Thanks DS for sharing this great video.. looking forward to seeing the next one🙏🏽
As usual just about the best railfan video this year. the BEST is! "Engineers son realizes his dad is driving the train". After watching that one you may agree. If so you have a task this summer, to be number one again. Love ya Danny and I'm just having fun with ya. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Just such a good sight to see, and no matter your race, gender, or age these people are all united by an interest in trains and railroading. Great to see the railfan end of the hobby in this awesome montage. Great work as always Danny!
Thanks for the video of a pretty cool event. I found that I actually missed your usual commentary because I always learn something from you. Easily the best rail content around.
Two of my FAVORITE things , Classic Cars and Trains , and here all in one place this day ! Folkston looks like the Disneyland of Railfanning ! And such a cross section of People , Young , Older , Men , Women , Kids , and ALL coming together to enjoy a commonality
Distant Signal, I hope you bring us more interesting facts, history, footage and special and awesome trains where ever you go. You always brighten my day when I see an amazing new Locomotive's and locations or to learn amazing pieces in museums.
It was a WONDERFUL experience being in Folkston for this special event. Trains, trains, and more trains, AND, we got to meet Danny! Thank you Danny for "introducing" us to Folkston via your TH-cam videos. Folks of Folkston were so nice and very welcoming. We had a great time there.
I get tears in my eyes when I see the Red & White Locomotive #911 in the consist. It means that someone ,somewhere still remembers AMERICA and what she stood for on 9-11. & pre-Nov, 2020. I hope we regain her and fix all the damage.
I find it interesting that people like to watch trains...as a kid, I enjoyed watching them, but once during my teenage years, one of my friends was driving and pulled across a set of tracks in front of a very slow moving train. We may have been 50ft from the engine but when the engineer blew that horn it scared everyone in that car so badly that we were all ready to go home and change our clothes. I grew out of watching trains, then we took Amtrak from Chicago to Emeryville, CA...and an interest was reborn. Anyway, I enjoy your videos and enjoy your commentary. One thing that plagues TH-cam are videos that are produced without a lot of thought to what the presenter is going to say; it drives me crazy. Thankfully, you research your videos well, and you provide an intelligent narrative.
Thank you Danny for this "visit".. Can't beat train watching, classic cars, ice cream and pizza. Keep up the great videos you do for all the folks. Stay safe!
That’s was really cool, new to this hobby and would have never thought there was so much passion for railroading! I’m very impressed with the footage I have been watching on DS. Keep up the great work and god bless you and our great country!
You have the best videos!! There are a couple places here in WNY/CNY where people come to watch the heavy iron rumble by, but nothing quite so spectacular as what you just showed. Thank you for your videos and showing just how much fun railfanning can be!
What a nice event! It’s nice to see many railfans young and old enjoying the trains together. I really liked how nobody was in each others direct shot and how everyone was able to successfully spread out. Wish I could say the same unison was present in events in California. Always an absolute pleasure whenever your content pops up on my subscription feed!
i cant believe i missed it again. this is absolutely railfan unity where everybody is having a good time. wonderful video danny. thank you for sharing.
The Juice Train Cars.... It's refreshing just to see them on screen. Literally felt a cool breeze as they flew by on the screen. ... Well I do have a window open.
This made me all warm and fuzzy inside. We need more communities like Folkston around the states. There are so many places to set up railfanning depots to hang out, tell stories and watch the trains. Hope growth of communities like this will continue! Thank you again for the video Danny!
Danny, thank you for another great video. A lovely mix of trains and human interest. A little different from what you normally do and I like it very much. Nice to see everyone having fun and respectful to each other and to the railway. Best wishes from England.
I didn't think I was going to make RailWatch this year, I thought I'd missed it...but didn't learn until a friend and I showed up the next weekend just to watch trains that Easter had bumped RailWatch up by one weekend. Awesome coincidence! Good to see you again, Danny.
Hello Danny, one of your very best. Also very different without your normal backyard introduction and the music bed was excellent. Thank you 🙏 very much!
Oh Danny once again what a great video. Looked like a great day out there with like minded people, fantastic. Would love to experience that for myself.
Great video Danny and glad I finally got.to meet finally meet you "On The High Iron". Long 650 mile.long trip and worth every mile of it !!! This will become a twice a year trip for me ( if kitchen pass is allowed). Be safe, take care and see next trip.
Danny...as always...AWESOME VIDEO...I must check out Folkston GA and hopefully as soon as I learn train call signs...i can share some rail watching from Texas
Hey. I was there and you could see me in film. It was an awesome day there. With the time I was there, I saw 12 trains roll through and 2 of the trains were Amtrak. Thanks for the video!
I have to get there to Folkston soon. Very well done, and a side note, X143 is an extra Q143 out of North Baltimore, Ohio, turns south at Deshler, Ohio Taki g the CSXT Toledo Sub southbound onto the Louisville Division.
Danny Harmon and Distant Dignal. It really good to see and to show that this railfanning is definitely multicultural. I wish I had known more about this when I was younger. But it wasn't till after I retired I took a serious interest in it. I would love to make it to Folkson one day maybe to the next Winterfest. I think it be worth it coming from Kentucky.
Glad to see you're doing well Danny. I've been watching the live cam for Folkston the last few nights after work and wondering how you're doing. One of these days I'm still hoping to make it down your way so I can actually meet you and say hello in person. Stay safe down there.
What i loved about this video is that you didnt have to narrate. The videos said it all. Its like you took a break and let someone else do the filming. I do that as well at events . I ll pass my camera around and allow others to capture the moment. In that way , i find pics of me blended into the scene. Awesome video as always. Keep up the great work.
Hey Danny! Awesome job with the video. A buddy of mine was up at that car show there too. Looks like a whole bunch of fun, I hope to experience it someday. Take care my friend!
Looked like a great turn out! Kudo's to the city of Folkston. BTW, not sure how they do it, but those Amtrak auto rack cars are graffiti free. They must have some kind of tight security.
That's Railfanning! Thanks for the video, Danny. Don't see that much action here on the U.P. Pacific Coast Line, Santa Barbara Subdivision. Mostly Amtrak. Jon
It's wonderfull to see normal US people follow their hobby, It's like the same in Germany, where ever there is a little cloud of steam ,you can see the German railfans in a crowd.👍🇺🇸Greatings from Germany
Love the editing in this one! You really have a way at inspiring young railfans like myself I really have to get down there for the rail watch sometime see ya next time Danny thanks for all you do
missed the golden smoothness of your commentary
Same
Yeah no doubt!
Agree with Others that we missed the 18kt Gold Voice on this Video. We’ll take a Rain Check.😬👍
I like the music but I did miss it

@@MatthewSmith-cv7op ok!
Best rail content on TH-cam.....
Music is horrible and distracting.
Sorry Danny, but not fond of garbage music.
@@Dan-uv5lw Oh shut up, if your gonna be a hater then don’t watch it
By far, without a doubt!
Attended many of these, when we lived in Florida. We were 2 hours away---we made many friends, because of Folkston--regular visits, were common for us. Miss it and all our railroad buddies!!!!
I love the fact that for some, trains can bring an entire community together.
Looks like a fun weekend: lots of trains, rail fans, classic cars, something for everyone. Thanks for sharing the highlights with us
One of the best railroading videos ever! Trains, railfans, hot rods and ice cream. What else is there. Your videos are wonderful!
OUTSTANDING! After a year of virtual isolation, it is so good to see folks out enjoying themselves again!
So nice seeing people out and about enjoying the trains and community.. that’s what it’s all about! Thanks DS for sharing this great video.. looking forward to seeing the next one🙏🏽
i like how everybody is respectful of everybody else takeing video and pictures each person stays out of each others way.
Rail fans are a good community of people. I wish the rest of the world could work like this.
At Railwatch we're all the same here. Nobody really cares unless you get in front of their camcorder during a train.
As usual just about the best railfan video this year. the BEST is! "Engineers son realizes his dad is driving the train". After watching that one you may agree. If so you have a task this summer, to be number one again. Love ya Danny and I'm just having fun with ya. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Always a treat to see your videos, they are very well made and they sure are well setting a new standard on videos here ! Cheers from Sweden!

I love this. How cool to see that rail fans come from every walk of life and every demograph, It reminds me of an air show on rails! Only in Florida!
Your videos are awesome. Andrew Stephenson knows so much about railroads!
Great video! My family and I had an awesome time. We can't wait to come back Memorial Day weekend.

Folkston, one of my favorite spots. Never knew this event existed. This is pretty cool. Thanks, Danny.
That was cool. A whole lot of trains. And rail fans. Thanks Danny 👍👍👍❤️
Let’s gooooo. More Danny Harmon 😎. Now I know it’s going to be a good day
Great video! Nice to see everyone up there having fun despite all the chaos going on!
I'll have to watch for next years RAILWATCH 2022
We travel full time in our RV so we get to see trains all over the country! Headed to Folkstone next year ♥️
Thanks for making rail fanning so easy and I don’t miss anything. Thank You

Family, Friends, and the Funnel. Great meeting you Danny.
Looks like a great way to pass the time and get to know a bunch of people.
It is a shame that the Waycross to New Orleans trains no longer go to Folkston. That took away about six trains or more trains a day.
Hey Danny! Awesome job with the video. A buddy of mine was up at that car show there too. Looks like a whole bunch of fun, I hope to experience it someday. Take care my friend!
magnificent video Danny, I did not know there were intermodal trains from the Northwest Ohio Ramp.
One of the best videos yet. Hope to get there sometime.
Danny you have top notch videos. Makes me wish I was at one of those places
Nice way to present this.....
Great job Danny!
Your videos are so smooth and well put together!
This is amazing! Everyone enjoying the hobby for what it is, EXACTLY how it should be! Way to go!
Great video. Thanks Danny.
This was so wholesome! I love watching these videos Danny. Thank you! :)
What a great video man love every thing about it! Keep up the good work man!
Oh man... I did not know this was a thing! I will have to try to be there next year!
Great work as always my friend, good seeing you up there! 👍🏼👍🏼
Looks like quite the southern hospitality with something for everyone in the family. Could well be a good excuse for a snowbird holiday
Looked like a great turn out! Kudo's to the city of Folkston. BTW, not sure how they do it, but those Amtrak auto rack cars are graffiti free. They must have some kind of tight security.
The Auto Train rack cars are either in their PRIVATE yards(Sanford, FL, Lorton, VA)or moving. No chance for taggers.
That looked incredible! What a fun day!
Great video Danny real different from your other ones keep up the great work.
spectacular video, nice to see ppl out and enjoying the fun.
Love that fun music
Great location. Very Friendly & Relaxed.
That's Railfanning! Thanks for the video, Danny. Don't see that much action here on the U.P. Pacific Coast Line, Santa Barbara Subdivision. Mostly Amtrak. Jon
This is by far one of the best video you made
Wonderful event, great trains, good people..and nice weather

Great video. I've got to get down there sometime. How come there was no smooth Danny narration? I kinda missed it.
Looks like action overload there! Reminds me of SFJ here where people just gather to watch the trains..
