Just became a Viktor fan. I've seen many videos of this him but how he made this video educational and the knot be so incredibly simple - he's a pro. Nice work Viktor, thanks professor.
Vic, I miss your tackle Tuesday’s. Please bring them back. Some ideas would be tips for surf fishing like catching your bait, pier fishing tips, beach setups and gear you take with you. Thanks for all your awesome videos!
The first person view was a huge help! I know they were twisted together then barrel wrapped, I just never realized how tight those twists need to be. Mine have always been more of a spiral.
When fishing the wire is attached via swivel to a flexible mainline (mono/braid) and therefore can't ever get leverage to twist the wire in a way that would cause it to fail.
Single strand can be tied with the haywire twist. It is cheaper and doesn't require crimping. It is very hard to bite through single strand wire, but it does kink easily. On the other hand cable or "multi" strand, is very flexible, doesn't kink, but it is prone to be being cut through or unraveling as it is usually 49 stands of smaller diameter single strand wire.
+Landsharkfishing ive been looking at the the light that yall use for LBSF on amazon, but i dont have any interest in filming with it, do you think that it could be jerry rigged into using 9 volts or something to that extent?
1:00 I personally find the closer to a medium gauge (#7) is easier to do the haywire twist with. Its probably because its easier with my fat fingers and it isnt as flimsy to work with.
Go for it if "you" like it. I don't fish it for several reasons. #1 It doesn't kink, but it can be cut after long battles, as it's just small diameter wire bundled together. #2 expensive #3 why complicate your rigs and resort to using crimps and more tools, it cost money and time.
Aloha Victor. Great tutorial until the Bullbuster shout out. Bullbuster is actually a fraction more expensive that other lines. 30lb 500yds braid power pro =@$44. 30lb 500yds braid BB =@$55. BB 25% more. Am I missing something? BTW I have bought BB big time.
Vik,,,, Is "BullBuster" your primary source of braided lines for everyday use on all your gear??? The product line and prices seem to be a great source. Are you still onboard with these people? What is your updated and present opinion ??? Thanks from a very interested quality oriented frugal fisherman.
Gotcha, how about for kayaked big baits? Still only one strand? What # wire? I've made them both ways, but wondering if doubling the wire is a waste of time, and wire. Thanks in advance!
Tie this about 5 times and it makes u wish you didn’t have feeling in your fingertips 🤣🤣 great vid bro
Thumbs up if your stoked for the wade fishing video!!!
Thanks Mrs. Doondah, see you English class tomorrow! lol
hahaha now i can't change it
Loved how you showed the hand placement when making the twists. Never saw it from that perspective before. Thanks Victor!
No problem, I'm happy to help and like to put out good content, from a different perspective.
Thanks victor! You're the best man. I'm a new fisherman and I Just bought this same wire. So now I know how to use it🙌🙌🙌🙌

Thanks for all your awesome videos!
Checked all my wire leaders and they were all wrong. I just fixed all of them, and you probably saved me some heartache. Thank you. Great vids.
Really useful. I wasn't getting the difference when I watched Tackle Tuesday on making a shark rig. This helped a ton. Thank you.
An absolutely brilliant demonstration of technique and skill, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Wow dude! Best tutorial ever! Make many many more!
The first person view was a huge help! I know they were twisted together then barrel wrapped, I just never realized how tight those twists need to be. Mine have always been more of a spiral.
Glad I watched this. Was doing it the wrong way. Gotta redo my stuff now. Thank u
Thanks Victor. I just learned a new technic for saltwater fishing
That was a learning video for me. Appreciate the camera angle as viewed from the person tying.
I thought it would help!
great video! you are a natural! man some people struggling out there just to make some videos and just make it like a pro!
Thanks man, really appreciate the kind words!
Du-Bro EZ Twist haywire tool #2. Try it and practice with it. It's easy, cheap and you'll make it look professionally made.
Always learning. Didn't know about that make a circle to cut the wire. Nice. No pliers needed.
Thats what happens when people think their wire got "cut" most of the time.
Thank you so much for this video👍🏼
No problem dude
Great how to !! Question tho what keeps fish from twisting the wire in to and braking off
When fishing the wire is attached via swivel to a flexible mainline (mono/braid) and therefore can't ever get leverage to twist the wire in a way that would cause it to fail.
I literally can’t do it, I’m so confused
thanks vic much appreciated
kickass deep sea racing bass.
What is the benefits of single strand vs multi?
jonnywaselectric multi frays really bad.

thank you for the replies, tight lines
thanks this was helpful. u da best

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. It' a great light whether you use it for video or just need powerful light source.
what size wire do you for sharks under 6 foot and what wire do you prefer for sharks over 6 foot in length
#10 #12, and I like #19 wire when I'm targeting big sharks.

Opinion on using cable for sharks?
Go for it if "you" like it.

#2 expensive

thanks very much
what if my loops are big but i did the twisting correctly
No issue
Been trying this for 2/ 1/2 hours now lol pretty frustrated, I don’t get this
I think possibly the wrong way actually works well if u double loop around the eye of the hook to diminish the amount of tension on the twist

I'm especially interested in their braided lines. But, all their products look inviting.
Yes it’s all I’ve used last 2 years
how do you even twist such a stiff wire without hurting your hands?
Nice instructional vid...but it would be better without the music
I want a landshark T-shirt where do I get one?!
+Jase Quinn They are not out for sale yet, when they are I will definetly make an announcement Via my social media!
Sweet video
Thanks Bob
Thanks great view
thanks
Great video as always! Do you ever double your single strand wire or always use one strand? Tight Lines from Texas!
+fhpd350 only one strand
Gotcha, how about for kayaked big baits? Still only one strand? What # wire? I've made them both ways, but wondering if doubling the wire is a waste of time, and wire. Thanks in advance!
+fhpd350 Single strand of #19 for yakked baits, I have yet to see my wire cut or kink during a fight, where I was afraid of losing a fish.
Thanks brother. I watched your vodeo earlier, answering my question. Thanks for the response!
I hate it when kids at the pier do this. they always say it holds but when they hook into a real fish that shits going to slip.
Then they say a beats king "cut" their wire lol.
I know, straight farmers on my pier do this
very nice buddy
Thanks TJ
I cannot figure this out ive tried it a hundred times
Not only do you reel with the wrong hand but you twist with the wrong one too!
Im just backwards
Enlisted Outdoors stfu
Didnt know there was a wrong hand to reel with. Darn not being ambidextrous.
Nice
Don't wrap heavy wire with your fingertips use the middle part between the tip and first knuckle you will thank me later
My only problem is the first part
Lol I've been tying it wrong, but the way I tie them seems to hold up so I'll just continue with it
Don't be a googan
Landshark Fishing lol, hold up I just finished watching the vid and I do tie it the right way
Alex Sigala sure you do ^.^
