Lady…. This is something that I guess I was lucky at most times, BUT, other times I’d have a dropped stitch and wonder why, through tears especially if I was working on a long tube. Well, today, I made 3 NFL hats with 3 colors and multiple color changes. I even caught the yarn twice that didn’t get caught on the needle. I hold up the yarn in the very beginning. It works. thank you, thank you thank you…
😫 😭 Oh, how 🤔 I wish I had known this approx. 5 hours ago and a few occasions even before then!😂 Still! 🌞 thanks 😊 to you 😘 I'll know 'How To' in future. Thank you!!! 🎉
I was having a very frustrating time doing color changes and had to completely change up my project. Thanks for this info. Especially about keeping the yarn up high on the needle
Thank you for this. I've been SO frustrated with this and this tutorial has helped tremendously. In one of your other vids, you mention you cake your yarn - what device do you use? I have a good ole KnitPicks winder and wonder if it could cake an entire skein of yarn (I haven't tried it yet :)
Thank you so much for this! I had resigned myself to making solid color projects only. I knew I was missing something but could not figure out what it was. My issue? Not having the two strands under the hook, instead of around the whole thing. Something so simple, but it was causing all of my issues. Thank you again!!!
Like everyone else said: thanks! All your videos are well done and helpful!
Thank you so much!

You're welcome! I use a Stanwood ball winder. It will hold 10oz. It easily will cake a skein of Big Twist. I highly recommend it.
@@CalumetKnits Thank you! Will check it out!
