Now, my generation (90s babies) have become stupider, more subservient, less creative and innovative. Anyway, I was a martial law baby and used to hate on Marcos but realized years after EDSA that Marcos has been vilified to the max when they were not as evil as portrayed by the Aquinos. They were not saint either but there were things that the Marcoses had started that should have been continued. Now, anything Marcos is evil.
One of the good things during those days was that English was very prominent in local TV. This was most evident then in RPN 9's News Watch with Harry Gaser, something that I wish local news has kept. But of course hosting wasn't really all in English. Even way back then Eat Bulaga was already in Tagalog.

Monique was older than Lea but Lea plays Brigitta. Brigitta plays the most popular role and sang many songs. if you were able to watch the movie, you'll understand why lea plays the role of brigitta. :) She's the best even then, FTW talaga.
