If nothing else, getting email notification about a new video is far more reliable than getting notified here. Surprised your giving away such a historic piece of ..kit! Must be cheaper to ship it out than paying to dispose of it. 😂 Oddly, I have some decades old manual focus lenses that would look right at home on it.😉 Fun video! Good luck to everyone👍👍

Hi Gavin. I am new to the Sony full frame community. I sadly don’t have the money to buy one of the newer models. I actually got the A7Rii, so I could buy a bit better glass and hopefully upgrade one day. I know it’s not the best camera out there, but I have really enjoyed the images I get out of it. I hope this scammer business doesn’t bother you too badly. And thank you so much for always sharing such entertaining and inspirational videos!

Those scammers are becoming a big annoyance. I've reported them multiple times on the same day, same channel (yours) and took them 10 minutes to pollute my reply to you. Every time I reported that scammer, he was back about 15 minutes later with the same message.
Shame these people are out there thanks for sharing ! I will look out for it going forward on my channel ! Fortunately just bought an A7II thanks all the same ! 👍😍

funny.... your A7R2 is in the exact state mine is.... although I tried and failed to replace the back screen, which didn't work and its now just a block of duck tape. It still works though and is a great backup camera. I sometimes travel with the 16-35 on that and one of my other lenses on the R3.
Wondering if the LCD screen on the 7RII doesn’t work because the EVF eye sensor is blocked… or broken. We all know Chasing Awe is significantly more valuable than that broken down, decrepit, A7RII anyway. That’s the real prize! Thanks for all the fun, entertaining, slightly informative, and inspirational videos. Now I feel like I need to look for an abandoned church in San Diego.
