2018 was the last year the daytona chargers came standard with 6 Piston Brembo’s. Starting 2019 and up the daytona edition became a add on package that did not come standard with 6 piston brembos unless you added the dynamics package. This is why my Daytona 392 did not come with 6 Pistons & why I upgraded😎
Time for me to do mine... but with how they increased the Rotor size from 390 to 400 mm Dealers have to special order the rotors for like 2,100$ ( CAD) a piece..but 6-8 weeks lol. ended up going with a set of Paragon Discs and Geomet Coated from the Factory, GiroDisc doesn't coat their rotors and don't have the rings for the stock Hats yet. Couldn't get BRembo Pads this time as Stock is a issue again... Pads going with a set of NRS (also Canada company). Galvanized suckers.

Wait so I don’t need Srt knuckles? I’m in the same position trying to do this exact upgrades and someone is insisting I get the knuckles bc the mounting location and the bolts aren’t the same fit.
If yours came with the 4 piston brembos then the 6 piston caliper and rotors are a direct swap.

I didn't kno you can just swap 4 piston with 6 piston. Without changing the spindle. I'm currently just bought 6 piston brakes for my srt8 magnum. Thanks for the vid. Much needed.
Yea the spindle is only needed for SXT/GT and some RT models to do the swap. Glad I was able to help.

Hey , i have a 2020 dodge charger scat pack . Mine came with 4 piston brakes . I just bought my 6 piston brembo calipers as well . Can i just swap out the brake calipers or do i need to change the rotors before actually putting the 6 pistons on ?
You will need the rotors as well as the six piston calipers are bigger and will not completely contact the rotors that came with the 4 piston calipers

Did you have to replace any lines or washers when doing this swap or was everything reused?
Nope, everything was reused. It was a direct swap! Just calipers and rotors/pads. All other hardware was reused as well.

I didnt use any loctite and never had any issues with the bolts getting loose. If you wanna use some for added insurance then feel free to use some. As far as the specs i recommend good and tight. I dont know the actual torque values for them.

Can you just switch out the calipers if your going from 4 to 6 or you gotta get the rotors too?
No you can't just switch the calipers. The rotors for the 6 piston calipers are bigger as well which is why you need to switch them also.

My 2015 scatpack came with the lame matte black 4 piston brembos. What’s the cost of upgrading to the 6 piston's?
If you do it yourself you can find them used for around $1200
@@Srtfiedofficial ouch. It just sucks my car came fully loaded but without the dynamics package. Truthfully I just want the 4 pistons on mine in red but they’re the flat black ones and it doesn’t pop nearly as good as the 6 pistons in red
I ended up painting mine white with the G2 Caliper paint. Feel free to check out my video on that and they do have the red color if you wanted to paint yours.
4 piston to 6 piston is not a big difference it’s only 17.2 feet

Yes, the rear brembo calipers and rotors are the same on all charger trims including hellcats with brembo brakes

@Smithftrans876 thank you but its telling you that based on the package you have on your specific trim level. Mine said the same thing when i searched online however, if you have the OEM 4 piston brembos then the 6 piston calipers and rotors are a direct swap with no modifications
