My guy, thank you for this! Been searching for pads and rotors for over a week and no luck for my 21’ scatpack WB .. dealer was charging me $4,500 for OEM replacement which is crazy .. I even thought about switching down to 4 pistons in the front just to bring the cost down but then I would need to get new calipers new knuckle spindles etc.. puzzle This is what I’ve been looking for! Thank you
@dreenygonz2055 hey man, tomorrow I have a tech that’s going to try and put the rotors and pads in for me, will let you know how it goes, hoping they fit, they should..
Great video and must do IMO. I did this to my previous Challenger Scat Pack and will am waiting on the parts to do it to my 23 Charger Scat Pack! Thanks for taking us along!
Any reason you didn't go with the z26's? and can you post a link to those ZL1 jack pads....I tried them on my 22 Charger WB and they didn't fit. Kept hitting the rocker panel flair where it says >jack here
Description is updated now and the link is there! But for that issue, What you do is move the pad a little bit behind where the arrow or cut out in the rocker panel is! The video I have on it, I explain what I did in that situation. And I went with the Z23 because I wasn't sure if the Z26 threw more or less dust than the Z23. Plus we don't really push the car all that hard so they shiukd be more that sufficient. They performed really well during the burnishing process!
Normally you can push them in by hand! They push in fairly easy. I'd put an old pad in, and push on it to keep the pistons moving in all at the same time
Great video, I was told that 2021 and up have a 400mm front rotor and the 2020’s land lower have a 390mm. Do those pads have any issues? I was also told that from power stop they don’t have any pads or rotors for the 21 and up. Any wisdom?
The stock brembo pads put more stress on your rotors bc they are semi metallic. The power stops will be much less harsh on the rotors with a proper bedding
@TboneSRT that click is because you have to clean where the wheel meets the rotor that will stop the squaking popping noise. But the click mine started making after the breaks is different, almost like the break pads are shifting, once I go forward it will make one time. And if I go reverse it will make it one time and so for.
@@TboneSRT .... Ok, thanks so much! It's been put away over the winter but, the 1/4 mile track is opening up on the 30th so, gonna change them👍! Thanks again and just subscribed! 😎
Hey bro I ordered them for my 21 wide body scat and when I placed the order it went through on my card but said my information was incorrect on the website and I didn’t get a confirmation email did that happen to you?
That's weird, did you buy them from K&N speed factory? If so, the owner Nick Merrone is on Facebook and super active. Shoot him a message and he will help you out 10000%.
Will do! And that's for the adaptive suspension. Only the hellcats and scats with the dynamics package have them. The regular ones just have a single bilstein without the resi
I honestly do not know. I'd assume the ZL1 has 6 piston calipers In the front though. I'm pretty sure they have brembos. Whether these will fit or not, I have no idea!
Depends on how old your pads are. These pads only had about 1000 miles on them so they weren't really worn so they new pads slipped in. But you may need to. Can do it by hand usually with the old pad and a screwdriver pushed against the piston

The kit only comes with the fronts. I didn't do the rears since the front does most of the braking. They really don't throw much dust so I left them alone. You could certainly do them though! The process is the same
@@TboneSRT ok thanks, I’m surprised, I just cleaned the rims and they we’re almost as bad as the front. I do have the challenger, not sure how much different.
@@johnh.9127 they do get a smidge more brake dust than the fronts (with these new front pads) but it's nothing like the fronts were before the pad swap! The brakes should be the same on both cars
@@TboneSRTsome guy told me that I can’t have different pads on the front and back?also is it necessary changing the rotors at the front or can I jus change the pads?
@LBCchelsea1 I've never heard of that before honestly. Most guys just change the fronts since they do most of the stopping and are much larger. The rears don't get as dusty. I'd go with just front pads and call it a day. But depending on how old or the condition your rotors are in, you may want to replace them as well so you aren't ruining the pads.

@dreenygonz2055 hit up 797performance, they'll be able to help you source rotors!
@dreenygonz2055 hey man, tomorrow I have a tech that’s going to try and put the rotors and pads in for me, will let you know how it goes, hoping they fit, they should..
Put them on they fit, rotors are a little small as per the tech but brakes are working fine
Good move, the dust from the factory pads are unbelievable, I replaced them with power stop Z26-1405 best thing I ever did, hardly any dust
Great to hear! I was going to go woth the Z26 but wasn't sure on the brake dust. Now I know, we'll go with those next time
Great video and must do IMO. I did this to my previous Challenger Scat Pack and will am waiting on the parts to do it to my 23 Charger Scat Pack! Thanks for taking us along!
It absolutely is! Thanks for watching and have fun with the 23!
Tip: When working on the front brakes you can turn the steering wheel far left and right to make it easier to work on the brakes.
Absolutely!
First thing I did to my scat. Virtually no break dust and no problems with the pads. It’s a no brainer.
Definitely! They work so well
Great video. For real I was distracted the whole time because you are an Evan Peters doppelgänger.
Hahaha!
Great video , we don’t need to resurface rotor on new break pad for our widebody scat or hellcats ?
@keeganjacobs5913 thanks! And shouldn't have to unless your rotors are older or beat up

Did those pads warp your rotors?
A lot of complaints in our area about it, swapping brake dust for a pulsing brake pedal.
Hmm, no they haven't. So far so good, roughly 1500 miles
Good work 👍 . Thanks Sir 🇺🇸👍
Thank you!
What about a higher mileage widebody and having to push the caliper back in for new pads?

Have you done the rear yet?@@TboneSRT
@@hebee81 I haven't, just the front. The rears don't get as dusty
Update, the pads don’t fit my calipers properly and make a crap ton of noise. Called Power Stop and they said it should be fine. Really annoying.
This is a dumb question to ask I have the 6 piston on the front and 4 on rear are the break pads different?
Yes they are
Any further thoughts so far? Do the 23Z´s eat the rotors more?
Only have about 1000 miles so far on them but everything seems to be just fine
The stock brembo pads put more stress on your rotors bc they are semi metallic. The power stops will be much less harsh on the rotors with a proper bedding
Any recommendations on a front rotor replacements for a 21 charger hellcat. Can’t seem to find any other than OEM
If you want to stay with a 2 piece rotor, you'd have to stick with oem from my findings. You can go aftermarket but they won't be 2 piece
I found these for the 21 and up front rotor replacements, will have to install the hat on them yourself though
Where can I get the rotors and breaks from?!?
Hit up 797performance on Facebook!
Have ypu notice any clicking on your brakes like they shift? Mine make a popping noise when i go reverse or foward.
@Juan-pt1lq it does click in reverse, it did it before the pads and it still does it lol!

How many I comes in a box for the pads off the link you’ve got pinned on this video? I’m trying to switch out all my pads on all four wheels
In the link those are just for the right and left front
So can you send the rear right and left ones please
