Thanks Zane! It doesn't always have to be pretty if it's functional 🙄. I didn't show it but I repaired the parking brake so it's functional too! Thanks for watching my Friend! Keep on grinding and working 🔧😁
Hey Andy, always cool to see some machining and fabrication. I've never had to work on a side by side, but I've never heard anyone say they enjoyed it.
Thanks Patrick! That shaft listed at offer $1k. Kind of a shame I had to cut it in two, but it definitely wasn't right. Thanks for watching my Friend! 👍😁
Wow... You did it Andy! Your problem solving skills rock!! ..lol.. but I gotta tell ya man the juice wouldn't have been worth the squeeze for me. Haha. Good job 👍
Thanks! I feel ya.....I would've bought one to expedite if it was readily available and not a fortune. The one I modified was over $1K new 🙄. Thanks for watching my Friend! 👍😁
@@FlatThunder Holy cow a thousand bucks for that part!! What a rip... but then it's been true for as long as I've been around individual parts off of a used machine or vehicle fetch way more because of the cost to replace with new than if you could buy the whole machine used in one piece. Frustrating! I'm convinced manufacturers don't really want us fixing machines.. they want us to buy new. They make repairs difficult (a pain to wrench on) and expen$ive in all kinds of ways by design 🫤.
@@rapturebound197 No doubt..... Cash for clunkers or whatever that government funded credit for older vehicles was called, really put a hurting on used car parts for older stuff. They would intentionally pour sand in engines so the parts could not be salvaged and repurposed. 🙄 I could never buy a part so expensive for a UTV / SXS. If buying a new replacement shaft was my only option I would have sold the machine. So far it's working great! Cheers 👍😁
Nice work getting your hauler all fixed Andy! 😁👍 Never fun welding in close-quarters but you done a nice job my friend! 🔧🔩

Thanks! The compact nature of it makes it tricky to navigate. Thanks for watching my Friend! 👍😁
Incredible job there Andy! 👍
