Wonder how it got its name? It was built in honor of my brother who passed away riding a downhill track called Kaka in nelson two years ago. His nickname was butters ❤️

Thanks for the info Nick. Sorry to hear about your brother. It's really nice to have such a fun trail built and named in his honor.

Ive only done the lower part where the picnic table is. Walked a couple corners - soooo steeeep. Quite a thrill!

If that's what you're into, it's a really good alternative to Te Ara Koa. Heaps steeper and a bit chunkier.

Thanks for the feedback on the video! It is a super cool trail! So good we rode it two days in a row!

Great video. And smashing those corners! We rode Te Ara Koa instead, which was nice and techy and long too. How good is Karmakaze! So different from Rotos.

Te Ara Koa is a classic too. We also rode that just without the camera. Karmakazee was really cool. It was a surprise because I hadn't heard many people rave about Kaiteretere but it was really good. Good beginner - advanced with Karmakazee to top it off as a rad expert trail! I will be back!

@@NewZealandMountainBiking yeah Kaiteriteri is underrated. We thought it was fantastic. Unfortunately our day there was cut short when one of the lads had his rear triangle snap clean in half at the seat stay right before we dropped into Karmakaze.
