Your videos convinced me to finally go out and get myself a bike after thinking about it for years. Got my first MTB yesterday, found myself a trail and had a blast. Thanks for the sweet vids and the inspiration man.
I lived near Sedona in Flagstaff for 25 years and rode many of Sedona’s trails (not this one). This video is making me really miss living in northern Arizona. Sedona is always magnificent.
Great riding, as usual! The terrain is so much unlike anything I've got here where I live. Unrelated: Anyone else here who really doesn't like the ultra-wideangle fisheye effect?
Hey you wore a headband awhile ago to keep the sweat off your eyes. It was pretty minimalistic. Could you share what it was? I want to say you had it during a race series.
Thanks! No lens guards for me as I think they would cut out precious light when I'm riding in the forest. I just exercise extreme caution when handling the lenses.
@@ddangerousddave Thx Dave - that was a bit of a surprise considering the stuff you're riding LOL! I have found that the sticky lens guard creates a bit of distortion tended to fog. I've switched to the premium lens guard - but haven’t taken it out for a spin just yet. Cheers!
Thanks Nick! Quebec would be pretty cool. I’ve seen some really cool slab style trails out that way. Could stop by Devinci headquarters and ride some new stuff at the same time. Moab is still on the bucket list too. Still BC, but I would like to check out the island sometime. Any spots you’d add?
@@ddangerousddave oh I’m definitely not the one to ask lol! I live vicariously through you and your pals while I do my very below average thing on the local trails. That said, I’m 52, and I did have one of the first “full” suspension (if you can call a rubber disk in the back “suspension”) mountain bikes ever made in the early 90’s (a Proflex 753…. look it up if you want a laugh), and at that time Moab was THE place to go and it has always lingered in my mind as a place I’d like to check off. Unfortunately, life got in the way in the early 90’s and I never really developed any skill on my bike and then took a near 30 year hiatus from the sport to essentially start from scratch once again a couple of years ago. So I’m not really up to speed on “the destinations” nowadays. Quebec does sound cool though cause a lot of the landscape photos I’ve seen from the region seem to feature slabs. Kind of like a Squamish east maybe? Not sure if there are trails worth visiting in the region, but somewhere up north like the Yukon or Northwest Territories would be cool.
@@ddangerousddave Sentiers du Moulin is a no brainer if you want slabs and tech, Mont Ste-Marie has some gnarly ones too I hear tho I've never gone. Mont SM and my enduro style trail system favorite Parc Recreoforestier St-Mathieu are really good ones close to one another, the latter has a very BC feel. Lift-access, Mont-Saint-Anne is a must, gnarliest (legal and not so legal ? *wink*) place you can ride in QC for sure when it comes to the DH sector.
I have a couple questions for you. 1. Which brand of FF helmet are you using? 2. Why you dont wear kneepads? (it is just for information, because a lot of my friends refused to wear knee protection too, and I cant even comprehend WHY? =) ) Thx a lot Great rides From Russia with respect
how many people watching this channel , besides me, have ever crashed a mountain bike and have a titanium plate for a clavicle now .... my guess ... 90%

What fuzzy stickers did you get for the mics? They look like a step up from stick-on mustaches.

Thanks for sharing that! Always love to hear about people getting into riding. Bikes have brought me a lot of joy and i hope they do the same for you!
Nice one Dave. It shows that all the technical trails you ride back at home has given you the skills to ride anywhere in the world👌👍
Dave is a different kind of rider, even for BC. Trials skills transfer to this terrain more than DH/Enduro skills imho.

Awesome to ride with you. Such a fun trail, and you made short work of it on the Spartan.
So many hikers , it was like watching bugs scatter.
Yeah this is kind of obnoxious. Hikers have the right away
Good old Dave, sketchy as ever. Love it
Love when you guys ride together and post separate vids.
What a fun day that was. 🤘🤘🤘
great biking my man, never fails to impress me
Just rode this last Saturday after some rain and it was awesome! My fav trail in Sedona!

Your mad dave lad. love from 🇬🇧
Dave you are an awesome rider thanks for your content, I've learned a lot from watching your videos
Sweet ride, thanks for sharing.

i didnt even notice it
i love it
Cant wait to see your execution of Hangover trail!

We don’t really get to appreciate Calirado Kid’s riding skill given his content, noice 👍🏻
The deep dark secret of the Calirado Kid. I can actually kinda ride a bike! 😂
Had a great time hanging on Hiline with the crew!
Rock on the side of the trail: * exists *

I got to get to Sedona to ride…nice ride
Hey man I love your videos 😊 the technic level you ride is awesome 🤩 please make more great videos 🖖🏽
Whenever Dave chuckles:
"Heheheh, I'm in danger 🙂"
Greetings from the Netherlands 👍

He left you hanging there 🤣
I love the laughs dude. You're a big kid. Shred till you're dead
3:20 the whitest "that's so lit" I've ever head lol
Sick vid.
Still waiting on the bike check. Fricken Dave.
Being in front of the lens makes me nervous so I put it off as long as possible 😜. Next week!
@4:34 he's wearing a mustache... That's saucy

It was a very thin headband that I took from my wife 😂. No idea what kind it is. Just something generic, but it worked. It’s in my EWS race video.
@@ddangerousddave thanks dude
Hey Dave - awesome video BTW. Are you using lens guards on the X3 and if so which ones? Cheers!

Your sooo good
Really enjoyed this AZ trip Dave. Any other non-BC locations under consideration over the next year or so?

Do you still ride the Meta sx?
Devinci Spartan HP.
My local. What was wrong with the bloke on the orange bike? 😅
Image quality seem pretty low, is something wrong with the camera?

I hope insta 360 is paying you. The quality of that camera is pretty bad. The distortion can be distracting.
I agree the fish eye effect is too much 😢
Yeah this one looks a lil bad, might be too zoomed out, but for the most part I really like the insta360 shots
Could i be 1st?😊
