The Three Sister Springs; Access Point at the Hunter Springs Park, Crystal River, Florida

- The Three Sister Springs is located in the coastal city, Crystal River, FL. They are known for the clear crystal water and home to hundreds of the Manatees. These Manatees can be seen all year round in the waterways but not many of them are seen during the summer because they travel up to coastline of Georgia, Carolina or as far as to Massachusetts during the warm season. However, during the cold season between November through April, hundreds of Manatees migrate back to the springs in Florida. Besides the Three Sister Springs, Manatees can be seen in Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs State Park, Hunter Springs Park, and Fort Island Gulf Beach in Crystal River FL.
To get to the Three Sisters Spring, we launched our paddle boards at the Hunter Springs Park and paddled along the Crystal river to get to the springs. We paid $5 for parking and the launch fee was $5 per paddle craft.
