Think of this as more of a reimagined version.
I feel like the original Blood and Guts, as awesome as it is, was a little repetitive so cut it down and focused my version a little more on the main themes.

This song perfectly capsulates Guts and just how much of a force he's to be reckoned with, despite him being only human. A man with nothing to lose, a man who's been beaten and broken down to almost nothing but still keeps fighting to the end no matter how tired or hurt he is. A man who's soul is cursed to forever be hunted by the damned and the wicked. A man who carries a blade like no other and swings it with ferocity like a wild beast. A man who doesn't hesitate to unleash his primal rage and strength. That is the Black Swordsman. That is, Guts. 🔥🗡
After all, he may be chased down by demons and monster however, humanity is the worst monster above all.

Well this is simultaneously the most terrifying and most badass version of Blood and Guts I've come across so far. If I hadn't read most of Berserk before I came here, I couldn't possibly be convinced that this song is about the protagonist of the story. This cover shows the monster first and then the human towards the middle. Brilliant work here.

Everybody saying that the anime is nothing compared to the manga. I'm just beginning to read the manga, but the anime made me fan of Berserk (and I have watched the 2012, 2016 and 2017 versions). So I can say, that even if the anime is not as great as the manga, it depends from each person to decide. For me is one of the best animes because of the argument, the characters, etc.

The anime is kinda shit. If you want you can go read the manga, but if you still want to watch anime, go watch the 1996 version, its much better than 2016 and 2017 versions, even if they have better music.
