I hope I make sense bc I goof around alot but @ 4:44 the James Bond in me wants to think that each and every flight pilot (and co-pilots?) had a secret pact with Her Majesty about those dark gloves she's wearing- kinda like wave to us with those gloves like they're the type of PPE we use for the control panels as a reminder that we want to have the best possible outcome and impeccably demonstrate this awesomeness for y'all lol 💛 🎩 🧤 👑
Concorde, Nimrod, VC-10, Tornado GR.4/F.3, Jaguar GR.3, Canberra PR.9, L-1011 Tristar.... so many great aircraft types that are no longer with us... nostalgia!
Concorde: Still operated by Skyrden. Nimrod: Will be converted into a freighter. VC-10: Will be restored to airworthiness condition. L-1011: Scrapped 😢.
After watching The Crown, it's more noticeable that she was nervous at the beginning of this footage, almost grinding her teeth (she had lost her sister and her mum recently, who wouldn't be overwhelmed at that sight?) She got really glad/relaxed when the family entered, she relaxes her chin a bit. Queen Elizabeth II, no other monarch will ever be quite like her
Ever noticed how it was sort of a missing man formation with Concorde detaching from the Red Arrows? It made sense since Concorde was approaching her retirement in commercial service.
Prince William was fine af, but Prince Harry was like hold my beer because in a few years, I will be taking that title, and he did. That boy had a glow up of all glow ups.

Not only was Concorde an engineering and design miracle, she also had grace and spirit.
The roar of the crowd when Concorde flew over.
Literally goosebumps when Concorde and the red arrows appeared 😍😍
And tears.

Can’t believe this was twenty years ago
Totally unreal, even Roman Emperors never got a show like that
Be pretty amazing to have a flypast in 120AD 🤣
I was there, in the crowd, on the Mall.

If she just gave a glimpse of her power, she would leave everyone in her vapour. The Queen I mean.

It still is a great country , but sadly it doesn’t rule the skies anymore, Boeing does
Thank you! 🙏👑🇬🇧
What’s the song?
Land oh hope and glory - Pomp and Circunstances, March n 1.
The beginning song? When they all walked to the balcony?
Oh, ok. I’m Brazilian, and i not talk English very well. But, I believe that the song is Over the Hills and Far Away. If not, notify me
@@B.gonchorroski unfortunately it’s not. But, thanks for helping out. It’s a hard song to find.
I’ve been wanting to find this song, I have no idea what the song is. Reminiscing, can’t believe this was 2 decades ago!
Proud to be British.....had a lump in my throat ❤
Epic Concorde routine but otherwise that was some utterly amateur direction and footage, just missing great chunks of the display. Honestly…
We will that again in our life time
