- Let's create a cute little ENVELOPE NOTEBOOK! In this video I am going to show you how to make the base using 2 ordinary envelopes, some tea dyed paper and digital paper by @49dragonflies ! In tomorrow's video (part 2) I am going to decorate the cover and show you a whole flip through of this cutie! I wish you the biggest fun making your own!

Wanted to give you an easy way to remember the difference between flip and flap and an envelope is the perfect example: on an envelope you will flip open the flap. Thank you for all your hard work and learning the English language so I can learn from you! You are sooo creative!

Yes that is a cool idea! Couples need cute intimate things to do for each other. I was with my late husband for 43 years and we left notes to each other. It started with me putting love notes in his lunch box. When he became disabled we continued it but now he was leaving me notes in my lunch!!.

Next time you add a mushroom on an envelope flap
Place the complete mushroom under the envelope flap
Then cut the small piece to place on the top of the envelope flap.
It will appear a complete mushroom if flap is down or open.

This is AMAZING note book, LOVE LOVE the color choices and how they all melted - adborded into one another. It reminds me of the look as though it came from Titantic Survival note book, and victorian ladies note book of her journey..... Great Job Luise! You're AWESOME!!!!!!

I love this envelope journal. I will have to give this a try. I have a bunch of these envelopes leftover from one of my daughters Wedding invitations. New I saved them for a reason. Almost 20 yrs. 😉
This is a clever project. I think if you had flipped your triangle over it would have fit on the remainder of the paper from the bottom. Then you would have had 4 triangles from the one sheet. I love your creativity.

What a lovely thing ..... i will gonna give that a try as a new crafting project ( i think) after finishing my journal ... sewing and all of that and binding it in.
I always make my own envelopes, so no white stuf in my stash ( or wait i have those for work related work off course )
I’ve noticed that whe have lots of preferences in common.
I don’t like for example ,bows, hearts and pink.
My favorite colors are blue and green and then especially the aqua ones.
But i work with all colors ... well not that much pink 🤣
I really laughed when i did hear your laughter after saying “ then the purple is gone, sorry Barbara”

I really like this idea!! Thank you. I am thinking about making a few of these for my sisters, filled with copies of old family photos that would normally just be in a drawer somewhere and never seen. Who doesn't like have a picture handy of mom or dad who have passed on? Or cute pictures of the kiddies of pets from the old days.

This is such a great idea for an envelope journal! I love the tips for making the spot where the ribbon is tied more sturdy. I never would have thought of that. I also now have some ideas on how to make this journal a little different too. Thanx so much for the inspiration!

Thank you for this idea, great way to use my paper and envelopes, great gifts for my granddaughters as they get older. I have missed you, I had problems with my computer and the place that cleaned reset the clock and it erased all my folder, including yours. So I'm starting new with this video.

Cute, nice idea with the star and sun, for day and evening journaling😍
When creating the triangles on the separate papers, you don't need to have four different papers. Fold it in half lengthwise like you did, but the first one down facing one way trace it and then flip the envelope to the other side facing the opposite way and trace it so you have a triangle triangle tip going to left and a triangle tip going to the right. And you'll be able to put four on one sheet
