This is the BEST moment of the game. To the point where you are suffering the BTs and at the same time you are saying to yourself "WTF am I doing playing this?". And then you move on, and this song starts playing. You finally understand what the game is about. And you suddenly start crying. I did, I cried.
thats exacly what they wanted and said. many people didnt get it. that little extra step doing something good and the reward is a good feeling + awesome music. death stranding is a masterpiece and many people wont get the message and reduce it only on its content/gameplay
Lost my mom and only parent at 16 so I’ve always had an unhealthy mentality projection about Big Boss. Snake Eater is a work of art and my personal Kojima magnum opus. Cried pulling the trigger on The Boss and I cried when I carried Sam’s mom up to the crematorium. And this game made me realize what I would do for my baby if I ever had one. I was so scared of starting a family especially in this fucked up world. But seeing how many single dads are out there that had it rough like me makes me realize our kids are gonna be alright. They got some fucking hero’s looking out for them. We aren’t bad people. Just had bad shit happen to us. Shit we won’t allow to pass onto our children. Much love in 2024 guys ❤️
i love this game, people hated it called it a walking sim, the thing is. Walking around gets you to appreciate all the work hideo and his team put into this game
It’s funny because walking around or travelling around a ton is one thing I find annoying about a lot of open world games, yet here, ironically, it’s the exact thing that i find so satisfying about this game. Every path is different, every path is a different journey, it’s just sublime.
Every time I speak to a non-gamer about videogames as an art form, I use this moment as a reference. The feelings that it evokes can only be conveyed by a videogame, and this is why I love DS. Few other games make me feel this way.
Most beautiful moment in the early parts of the game. If you get to this part, and it doesn't do anything for you, switch off the game and let it go. This game is not for you. With that said, Im so glad to see that so many people here agree that this game was truly madterpiece...
I started playing Death Stranding during the dark days of the Pandemic Lock-downs. COVID reminded Me of the B.Ts as I have a compromised immune system on top of Other Medical issues. It was going through the battle with B.Ts on that Mountain, then end up in this sequence for the first time did I feel a sense of Hope for a long time. I thankful and grateful for making it to this point in life where everything is unfolding like the Video above.
This is Kojima's masterpiece. I am a student, studying to be a programmer, and I love programming very much myself and study this field on my own. And I would like to be able to get a job at Kojima Production in the future. This game is amazing in everything, and I was especially affected by the ending and the whole upheaval of events. And if someone calls it a walking simulator, then you are deeply mistaken. You just don't appreciate soul games that are aimed at the concept of life and death. This part of DS deserves the attention of the whole world, and the second part will deserve the attention of the whole universe.
There are many videos like this out there, but this one was the nearest to one of the best moments in gaming I’ve ever had. I came over the same hill, saw the vista and was blown away by the beauty and the spectacle. Awesome moment. I love this game and have both soundtracks. Brilliant stuff Hideo. Absolutely brilliant! 👏👏👏👏
@@jehutyinp A wave of peace kind of washed over you. An oasis was in sight after a difficult climb, the music kicks in and you just know the rest of the way will be safe. You take your time walking down. Unsure of whether it's the music or the scenery that's making you want to make that last bit of the journey last a little longer. I find it hard to replay it although I loved it. So many moments like this are burned into my memory because it was so impactful. I wish I could experience it for the first time again.
This was my mistake, so many songs were cut short because of BTs. At least this song played in its entirety for me. The moment I knew what this game is all about and it was worth continuing the journey to the very end.
this is one of the best moments in all of gaming for me. after a grueling journey through mule territory, BTs, and harsh terrain, the feeling of emerging over a hill and seeing your destination in front of you is truly something special
Motorcycle battery died and this song started playing, best moment in my second playthrough so far. I love this game so much, even on hardest difficulty it doesn't feel boring like other games, it's just challenging a little, and it feels like it was intended to be this way
Just played the game (Thanks EGS). Totally shocked my heart and shivers run through all of my body. It's just so beautiful. Thank you for uploading this, so i can repeat the process whenever i want to.
After dealing with a Ton of BTs, being on edge all the time, the scanner tells me I got out of BT territory. I approach the top of the mountain, Port Knot city is visible and this song starts playing. I cried... Truly this game is something else.
@@Sheogorath- but it's fun, it's beautiful. It's calm and chill. Once you have played it to a certain extent, you'll feel like playing it again after some time. And it doesn't have to be necessarily the whole story mode and whatnot, it can just be casual roaming around. The world of death stranding is truly one of the most relaxing to exist, it's one of its own kind. A game without a genre, but also with a genre but of its own.
I was in total awe of this moment when I got here. So beautiful and it clicked for me. I was basically in tears so memorable and a great feeling after walking all this way. The song is phenomenal and fits the mood perfectly.
This is the EXACT moment that I fell in love with this experience and new that it would be one that I would never forget. I (Sam) sat on that cliff and listed to the entire song while looking down on Port Knot City. What a legendary moment in a damn perfect game.
this part where i struggled with BTs and couldn't wait to reach the destination and then this song start playing I froze and started looking at the scenery, It was beautiful
I'm currently playing right now and when this part comes up, I felt a rush of nostalgia winds blowing thru my body just like back when I experienced it's E3 2018 trailer.
I feel like the fact that there's literally nothing between you and Port City, except for the terrain. After the shit you went through to get here, it was all worth it, and you're finally rewarded with peace and quiet. Just you, and the path you make to your destination. Beautiful game.
Obviamente esta es una cancion para el hombre, es un alivio escucharla y saber que hay otros hombres como yo, que buscan proveer a sus familias sacrificando su salud y que al final pierden esas familias y pierden un poco de su sentido de vida como hombres
ik this comment is like 4 years late but i rmr my first time with this song after dealing with the most stressful bt experience of my life and almost dying to a catcher like 3 times i finally got out of there and this song started playing and i was like wow
At this moment I realised that im playing something truly special
Me too bro, me too
Epic game. The graphics are crazy
Yes bro, absolutely. I was mesmerized by the view and the soundtrack.
Me too brother ♥️
Realized that in 1998 in MGS 😅 and Kojima has never disappointed me since
This is the BEST moment of the game. To the point where you are suffering the BTs and at the same time you are saying to yourself "WTF am I doing playing this?". right bro this game is awesome and
For me, this is one of the best moments, there is too many to pick up one

Im so thankful hideo put this on xbox. I can finaly play after 5 years. Its truly beautiful

Single dad with leg problems, works as a delivery guy, in the pandemic, and delivers the packages by foot cause he can't afford a vehicle.

Ive always tell my friends DS is visual novel with gameplay. Stunning masterpiece
This game helped me understand myself and become a better person. This game means the world to me it’s the first time I broke down at a game
Every time I speak to a non-gamer about videogames as an art form, I use this moment as a reference. The feelings that it evokes can only be conveyed by a videogame, and this is why I love DS. Few other games make me feel this way.
The only other game that made me feel like this was the ladder in Metal Gear Solid 3, funny how Kojima knows how to capture that feeling a bottle
Most beautiful moment in the early parts of the game. If you get to this part, and it doesn't do anything for you, switch off the game and let it go. This game is not for you.

It took me 5 hours to found a way to port knot city at first time, but when the music started and the city appeared, I knew it's all worth it.
You played this part exactly how I did on the beginning.
One of the best game I have ever played!
npc post
Prolly the best. Weird but such an amazing game. I hope he does another
Thank God I gave this game a second chance. Probably the most profound gaming experience I've ever had
Finally a video that captures the cinematics of this incredible moment
This video captures the game perfectly.

Love how it contrasts from narrowly getting through a BT are so high stress into this beautiful cathartic release of seeing your destination

One of the most beautiful moments of video game history. Brilliant.
One of the most choking moments i've ever had playing videogames. It's really glorious and beatiful.
Truly immersion experience... Whenever a track plays i just take detour so i can hear it completely.

Sadly it's impossible to just listen to any in-game soundtrack you've found through TAB, like it was in MGSV...
Can’t believe how many years . This song stuck w me . Game is a absolute master piece of a story .
this is one of the best moments in all of gaming for me. after a grueling journey through mule territory, BTs, and harsh terrain, the feeling of emerging over a hill and seeing your destination in front of you is truly something special
2:44 хахахах я тоже сюда прибежал и на веревке спускался )
Took me this long to realize the game didn't want me to make it there with the motorcycle lmao
I tried so very hard, you wouldn't imagine
it is still possible, and can possibly ruin the moment, don't ask how do I know
Thank god we’re getting a sequel to the game
Honestly such a great game
That was the moment I fell in love with this game... I will never forget the moments I spent playing. Thank you Mr Kojima ❤

One of the most unique and memorable games ever made.
Def my favorite moment of the game
Best game ever made.
Completely agree even if it's flawed, it's so iconic
Seriously, I've never experienced or seen another game like it. 😌🏆🎮
Saw this scene in a playthrough, immediately knew I had to play it, and I did, and it is now one of my favorite game ever
After dealing with a Ton of BTs, being on edge all the time, the scanner tells me I got out of BT territory. I approach the top of the mountain, Port Knot city is visible and this song starts playing. I cried... Truly this game is something else.
лучший момент в игре . или один из самых лучших.
the game is what satisfy me in term "what if i want to wandering in the new world with all the good music while doing delivery?"
After all that, you come up over the hill and see this sight and I couldn't help saying "wow" out loud
damn, that is beautiful...
Felt like playing it again after this.
its a long ass game tho

Esa parte del juego es muy buena.
This game is good for your soul.
this part where i struggled with BTs and couldn't wait to reach the destination and then this song start playing I froze and started looking at the scenery, It was beautiful
I was lucky to get to this point on a motorcycle, so going down under this track was doubly epic
Wish I did this sequence on foot. I was in such a rush to get it done I was dead reckoning through the boulders with the bike.
I think all the song sequences are experienced best on foot.
Which is why I'm watching this video👍👍👍
I'm currently playing right now and when this part comes up, I felt a rush of nostalgia winds blowing thru my body just like back when I experienced it's E3 2018 trailer.
Searching for hidden moments since day1.
HEY MY NAME IS SAM! :)
Hey my name is SAM too!
This one of those moments in gaming that stays with you forever. Just amazing
It's so hard to find gameplays beautifully played- thanks, dude!
one of the best games i don't know why its so underrated😍
I already knew this song before playing, and i felt much more
Ótima experiência em jogar esse jogo
Such a great moment.

The best song of the game
Port Knot city
I took the motorcycle there and it was an inferno, that zone with BT and that stuff... But was worth it.
I feel like the fact that there's literally nothing between you and Port City, except for the terrain. After the shit you went through to get here, it was all worth it, and you're finally rewarded with peace and quiet. Just you, and the path you make to your destination.

Capolavoro masterpiece!! grazie kojima ❤️🔥🥲

I walked very slowly downhill so I can enjoy the song fully ❤
This game is not soothing loneliness but delivering soothing loneliness.
Oblivion
The traces left by other players were very reassuring.
Lejos este juego una obra maestra mejores que e jugado
This guy has the back of a mule
Oh, the song is chill AF too...nice!
Bring on friends take all, dont stop to give up
The best game .. for the special ppl ❤
It's hard to describe this game with words it's more of a vibe an emotion
Thank you Kojima !
I play this song when I’m at the mall and need to find a bathroom, a clean one.
Pandemic lockdown the game
Delivery edition
For a Rucking simulator this game is a true masterpiece
only this scene replays the game
how it feels when you work as delivery man

Лучшая игра❤
Кодзима гений.
I managed to actually kill my first BT right before this moment. Goddamn, did this hit hard.
The trailer version of the song is the best
I used the motorcycle to get up there the first time, and full speed to the port ^^ the music stop cause the cinematic started
grat at this moment the tittle of music dropped but music didn't played for me xD
it's so pity ,the game of 2019 is Sekiro。
An answer for the question is video games art?
Видос русский, а русских комментов нет. Найс момент, прошел на платину
Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of this game tbh. But I credit Hideo with trying to be unique and this scene is one of my favorite in any game ever.
ББ
This game looks like death boredom not death stranding
A pointless masterpiece
El juego más ABURRIDO de la historia dificil superarlo
lol. Lee un libro, quieres?
Hard to beat?? 🥴 Boring??
Hardly. lmao
Horrible walking simulator.
And still, you are here, envy for those who could enjoy it.
Braindead opinion, devoid of any substance.

I just cried at this part. It just felt like I wasn’t alone in that ordeal.
