Thank you for the info on Plus addressing. Very useful. So much potential. I have a question. In order to use the iCloud functionality, with regards to the email function - is the email address always @iCloud? What about the email address that is linked to the Mail App on my MacBook?
iCloud functionality works only with iCloud account email. You can't use it with Google or Yahoo or something else. But those services have their own ways of doing this (sometimes).
FWIW, these also seem work with the old @me.com and @mac.com addresses. Also to note, "dot" addressing (also ala Gmail) like, exam.ple@icloud.com does NOT seem to work.
Both are useful. I like plus addressing when I know I'll need to use that email address often or there is a sequence, like different Twitter accounts for different purposes.

That’s a great one in combination with rules to keep things organized...thanks!

Useful as always! Thanks.
This was very helpful. Thx.
Simply Brilliant!!
Thanks
The plus sign is no longer needed, correct?
Is this still a thing or was it replaced by Hide My Email? Thanks!

Yea but your email address is still easy to get from the plus address ;)
