Thanks claine plummer, been on a dry spell lately as my working conditions are changing drastically as my state moves in and out of phases due to C19. Lots of catch up hours at my regular gig but if/when things get slow again, I'll pick it back up on this channel!
Selfless Saviour, Alseid of Life's Bounty, and Hall of Heliod's Generosity would be good includes as well. Though Hall might require a higher budget. Seems to be pushing toward $6 at the moment.
I'm looking to build a version of this with other cards that can reanimate or return to hand other cards to get cards back on the board after being destroyed, that way if lurrus does get destroyed I can just bring him back to hand or reanimate. I definitely put ajani's pridemate and Daxos, Quag vampire, cruel celebrant, and wight of precinct six
Wow Blind Obedience used to be so much cheaper. But anyhow, my suggestions to add are: Alseid of Life's Bounty, Selfless Savior, and Benevolent Bodyguard for protecting Lurrus Cathar Commando (a newer card), Elderfang Disciple, Kami of False Hope, Tormod's Crypt, and Heliod's Punishment (or Darksteel Mutation, if you wanna spend a little more money) for controlling the game Golgari Thug, The Birth of Meletis, Nullpriest of Oblivion, Thraben Inspector, Perpetual Timepiece, and Chromatic Sphere/Chromatic Star for consistency/other value Really excited to build Lurrus though and you've given me some great ideas, so thank you for the video!
so heres a question i cant seem to get a answer for can you run 2 copys of a companion in a commander deck if 1 is the companion because it is not counted as 1 of the 99 (note i dident check if any of the companions would be able to fit there own rules)
Good, question... I don't believe so, as that would break the rule of having more than one copy of a unique card in your deck, with the exception to basic lands and cards like "relentless rats" that state a deck can have any number of copies of itself, if that makes sense?! Hope that helps.
I love this. Keep up the awesome!!!

Now that Lurrus can be companion to Elas Il-Kor, I'll probably use these with a mix of aristocrat and cleric cards
