Great video! Just picked up and played the game for a bit yesterday and I’m absolutely loving it, and this video helped clarify some easy to miss things.
Just take it slow and really pay attention to the In game tutorials and read everything that’s underlined to see effects. I started on the basic map yesterday, but have lots of crusader kings experience so kinda started to pick up a bit faster
It's a poorly designed game tbh. I lost interest very quickly due to the maintenance costs and not being able to train enough units to attack and defend.
i have a question about damage tooltips. Sometimes it shows 2 damage type icons, does that means it deals # of dmg type 1 and # of dmg type 2, or is it just # dmg and it picks the favorable dmg type in terms of resistances?
I am not familiar with this genre but still only the first tip was useful, all the other things are explained in the tutorial. :/ What is not explained is: what affects stability and how should you manage it? Where/how tobuy new heroes? When, where and how to build new cities? How to split up an army? Can you research lower levels of tomes after you reached higher levelr and how? etc etc etc
Build the building that increases the city tier and new buildings will show up. Also the materium tree has an early-ish power that gives you stability for making things in a certain way.
I heared this game would feature spider mounts, but cannot set it up so I'd get them for my race. Why? What races can have it or... what do I do wrong?
In the window where you choose the physical form for your race at the bottom you have a body and a mind trait. Click on the circle arrows beside the body trait. Within the list there is the spider mount trait.
I was looking for a vid that explains how to IMPROVE city stability. Unfortunately, this vid only points out that stability is important, but it doesn't tell us how to improve that stability. Do you know of any vids (or maybe you made one yourself) that goes more into detail on the subject?
You can build buildings to improve it, generally unlocked early unless your dark culture. Dark Culture instead unlocks buildings that ignore low stability but don't have any ways to improve. A number of events can also improve stability.
why is everyone saying this game is good? it's actual trash compared to AoW2. no special racial units, every race literally feels the exact same. AoW2 had 15 races with completely different units. The ingame music is uninspired dog shit compared to AoW2, too. Also, why do the buildings/towns look exactly the same for every nation? that's so fucking lazy, in AoW2 every nation had their own, thematic art for buildings... AoW4 is just extremely lackluster in so many aspects
It is finally time.
Pravus is releasing guide videos!
These guys should make the next Heroes of Might and Magic game. And make it more like HMM3.
I thought 5 was pretty decent. Didn't like the heroes not fighting like they do in this game
Try Songs of Conquest. It’s an amazing homm3 clone. In my opinion it’s the best one to date.
Man I miss HMM3 WOG. I really should boot up my old comp so I can play it. I've been searching for that feel.
100%, I kept getting HMM vibes and spending most of my time running around the over world, avoiding fights, and just exploring everything.
@@kurt_wolfgangSongs is super well done, loved it. Only problem was how light it felt on content.
Just finished my first playthrough of this an can confirm it is totally awesome. Cheers for the tips!
The looks of AoW 2 and improvements in features & such plus continuation of the story of said game.. I love it!

Dude awesome content
Where we can see the rank of the "Infestation"?
did they fix the issue where it takes 30 mins for all AI to complete the turn,on the late game, if you play 1 vs 7?
you patch that yourself with a decent computer
I really want to play this kind of game but after watching YT guide and giving it a ty, I'm still so overwhelmed. :(

Thats because you didnt pay attention. Not the games fault.@rjmeeker89

The problem i have is rly just stability i only find 1 building that increases it by 5.. then nothing more shoes up? What am i missing?

@@GarthTarris Im playing as nekron and theres only a building that stops secession of provinces.
@@GarthTarris Btw can i somehow get rid of city ruins?

@@jeremynoel2545 I noticed by now but thank you. Pretty interesting choice to have it like that, but I like the webbing ability so it's cool.
How create new hero , Can only 1 have ?
looking for ONE specific tip, i can't know it is in your video because there is no indication on what's in your video
This is my first grand strategy game, and I'm having loads of fun, but im getting demolished in combat
More Paradox beginner guides?
I'm not sure if I should play the beginner scenario or not.
i must say its hard to see the special resources

Shame this game is Civ6 in disguise :(
How do you manually fight battles in Civ 6? Am I missing something?
first?
Pravus should play more democracy 4. i would love to see a hardest difficulty america run. day 179
Day 4 ask him to play infection free zone
Any tips to make the game fun? This is the worst purchase I ever made.
