Definitely keep uploading at least a beat every 10 days (I suggest already pre uploading them at once for the First, the 10th, and the 20th and then submitting them in the Spotify for artists manager [you can only have one submission at the time and I found out that 10 days is the perfect length])
just keep being consistent, the Spotify algorithm really starts to work for you with things like suggesting you in radio etc

I started uploading bang on 2 years ago this month to Spotify, now hitting roughly 65k monthly listeners and 250k+ streams a month just from beats 🤟🏼 definitely a must if you’re a producer relying on an income from music and you want to diversify yourself

I plan on producing a full length album, ill rap on about 25% of the songs and the rest is gonna be songs by other artists but produced by me, all on my album. Ill even pay for verses from rappers, and royalties split and everything. I got the idea from DJ Khaled, he dropped an album but he doesnt rap. Im gonna do the same. Its gonna be dope.

Just uploaded my first on distro. 🙏🏼❤️👊🏼 Do you need to put a release date in the future to give you time to pitch to Spotify Playlist? Since they don't let you pitch on your stuff that's already released. One thing I would say is that I have a huge portfolio of library music that's all registered with content id and A LOT of people use my tracks without buying a license. You might be losing some income if you don't register your stuff. I'm with identifyy and I leave a contact in the description so we can arrange to clear any YT claims within 24 hours.
Been dropping twice a week on Spotify. I'm slowing getting some streams. Only at about 8 monthly listeners but I could also promote it more like I do with my beatstars

Beatstars would have to start paying out royalties like a Spotify, so that would change the platform's purpose quite a bit

I have yet to find a clear answer on this… can I upload my beats to Spotify even if I’ve sold an exclusive license? I would think so because I don’t sell ownership to my beats and remain the intellectual owner of them but like I said I haven’t found a clear yes or no answer on this

One Reason i Switched to Beat Stars From Distrokid and There is Many Reasons But One is Because Distrokid Kept Denying My Beat Uploads Saying Something About Cope rite Stuff That Was Bull Shit Because The Beats That i Uploaded Are Original Played NO LOOPS Or Samples And Their Customer Service Is Trash and The Back and Forth emailing They Take Forever

Hey Pain I have one question when it comes to “type beats” , is it ok to do producer type beats like for example a “Timbaland type beat” or a “Pete Rock type beat” or should we just stick to artist type beats , like “Drake type beats “ ?
Spotify is VERY against using other peoples name to boost your own name. I don’t know if it’s still possible but I got one beat uploaded and haven’t been able to finesse the system since. You have to make your own lane pretty much.

I've uploaded 2 albums to spotify in the last year and i was really happy with the results. I definitely did a lot of marketing though, ads on facebook/instagram helped. The idea has to be really cohesive though, for an instrumental ALBUM especially. I did tons of visuals and attention grabbing promo and i found it really worked! but consistency is definitely the main thing. This is 100% inspiring me to upload to spotify more. Starting today. I keep them tagless on spotify, a lot of playlists don´t want tags in the beats, but do what you find best fitting :)
It’s difficult to put type beat on it. Spotify doesn’t entertain type beats but I’ve managed to get a Travis Scott Type beat uploaded. Other than that they blocked my type beat titles

You didnt touch on slaps it helps you get listens and engagement on your music you havs to get 5 points for every 1 song you want to upload you get those points by engaging with other artists music
