    Yep, I definitely had to go back and forth and back and forth - and not because I was slow on the uptake, sorry. But you are sometimes skipping info on which part should be used next.

    I just completed the Haunted Cottage. You made it look so easy but I found out I am not nearly as good as you are. I had to stop and start the video every step of the way. Biggest thing I learned is you have to use the right glue. I was using Zig and it just didn't dry fast enough to hold the curved areas. Once I switched to Zip Dry everything went much easier. I can't even imagine what I would of ended up with if I used a gue that didn't dry clear!!! Can't wait to get started on the other projects in this kit!

    I don’t understand how you put your roof panel on the chimney side with the chimney already installed. It won’t fit over the larger top end of the chimney. I had to rip mine and glue it back together yet yours is on there somehow with no explanation.

      Hi Bobbye! Thanks for reaching out! I just re-enabled the automatic captions for my channel. It seems that the default setting changed at some point and they were no longer showing up. I'm seeing them again now on some videos, but not yet on this one. Hopefully after some time they will show up for this one as well. Thanks again! ~Mary

    How do I cut them out? I only have a cricut. I just bought your kit. What is the best way to cut the shapes out? Should I copy all on whiite copy paper than copy to the appropiate color cardstock?

    This video is very much un~clear as to how to... Where do we start? Even after I bought this kit even the PDF doesn't have instructions. So far not good :(

      @svgcuts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lo's K&C! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. Perhaps you were looking for instructions on using our designs with your cutting machine. If that's the case, I'd be happy to provide that information. Are you using a Cricut Explore or Maker with the Cricut Design Space software? Or perhaps a Silhouette Cameo with the Silhouette Studio software? Or the Brother ScanNCut machine with the Canvas software? Or if there was something related to the assembly of the project/s, please let me know. Thanks! ~Mary

    Do you cut this out of chipboard as well?
    And when I go to cut my files they don't score.. they cut.. How can I fix this?

    • @svgcuts
      @svgcuts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Pixietale Creations! I'm so sorry for the delayed reply to your comment. I actually used card stock paper, not chipboard. Generally, most kinds of available card stock paper will work well for our designs, but I have some more specific information about my personal preferences at: svgcuts.com/blog/2017/04/03/what-kind-of-card-stock-is-best/
      The Haunted Forest SVG Kit projects haven't yet been updated to include our optional solid score lines, which are meant to be scored by some cutting machines, such as the Cricut Explore or Maker and the Sizzix eclips and eclips2. Here is some information about using our optional solid score lines in case it’s helpful: svgcuts.com/blog/2019/04/15/how-to-use-our-optional-solid-score-lines/
      In case you’re new to using SVG files with the Cricut Design Space software, here’s some detailed information that may be helpful: svgcuts.com/blog/2019/04/16/how-to-make-our-vintage-truck-project-using-the-cricut-design-space-software/
      Thanks for reaching out! Please let me know if you need any more help. ~Mary

    What weight is the card stock please

    • @svgcuts
      @svgcuts  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi V! The card stock that I like to use and that I recommend is textured card stock that's about 80#. However, a wide range of types and weights of card stock can work well. With that being said, if you find that your blade is tearing up the paper and it's not dull, then it may be one of the few types of card stock that doesn't cut well. I don't run into that often, but it can happen.

      Thanks for your prompt reply . I have made several of your projects . Such as tgd haunted house , a Xmas house and a southern style house. I love them . I made them with 250,gsm ( not sure how that relates to card weighed by the pound) but I found 250gsm a bit too flimsy. Do you think 300gsm card for the structure would be sturdier. Thanks

    I'm becoming more and more unhappy with SVG Cuts! The customer service sucks and the videos are becoming more irrelevant, lacking and incomplete. Where does the decorative panels go on the cabin? How can I determine what's decorative BEFORE I cut them out? How do you assemble the flower for the jack-o-lantern? I really wish I didn't spend my money with you.

    • @svgcuts
      @svgcuts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow! Thanks for the input, Saunya. Was there something specific that you found to be irrelevant? If you look at the PDF Menu document included with the download, the shapes that are "panels" are the decorative panels. The shapes are shown and categorized: house, base, roof, vellum, interior liners and panels. For the flower, you can assemble it however you'd like, but going from smallest to largest (largest on the bottom) seems to make the most sense. We are taking a look now at our e-mail inbox to see what we must have missed from you.
      In case you missed it, you can always jump ahead to the project you're looking for in our TH-cam videos by clicking on the project's number link in the video description above.
