Amen! If you're poor or workers, they have nothing! Now NBC is talking. About time!

"Real"? Mr Beast had nothing to do with that.

It's about time a main news channel finally is putting reports on about Helene and what is and is not going on. I won't say what I really would like to, I will be polite, but your management should bow their heads in shame for the lack of coverage and in-depth reporting that has been desperately needing to happen. Finally pulled your head out of politics a little bit, maybe you'll get some fresh air and get back to the real world. God I miss Walter Cronkite!!!! The need is catastrophic, and the fact that civilians have done the majority of the work just shows how broken the system is. It's not just Ashville. The You Tubers have been covering this situation better than you guys ever could have it you cared. I've been sending links to stories and begging for someone to pay attention, all fell on deaf ears. These are our brothers and sisters, the bureaucrats need to step off, and let the street level boots on the ground people direct the work, and the need. You have people who are going to freeze to death because some self important ignoramuses' are getting in the way of the kind of help being offered. ie temporary structures. Me I'd walk right over the top of them if I could. Life is more important than your feelings of importance. I'll stop, but finally one of the 3 is doing their job, at least partly. 😒

Well done America, you need to do better, why isn’t the government this? This isn’t the job of private organisations and citizens.

Y’all, THE “catch words” are “TEMPORARY”; FEMA will help; this involves MUCH PAPERWORK that HAS to be SAVED(!!); (I dealt with FEMA after hurricane damage HERE) There will be help, BUT, it’s on a TEMPORARY basis…. The GEOGRAPHY is DIFFICULT to overcome…y’all… THIS will be a LONG haul… BEST OF LUCK…AND, y’all… DON’T give up!! 👍🏻👍🏻❤️‼️

I was telling the truth nobody seems to know if FEMA is on the ground. If you're in the city of Asheville, the churches are providing feeding, clothing, propane, wood, heaters. Blankets.
In the holler, there is less. Many people have lost everything, cars, trucks, housing. Being in a sleeping tent with the freezing temperature below. 😢 please share

To all, please take the time to pull up Appalachian TH-cam channels and see the real story on a day to day basis. The regular news just moves on so often but that area suffered a catastrophic disaster. Volunteer workers from Katrina say it is way worse. These peopke are living in tents and cargo trailers. Government bureaucracy is preventing temporary housing in many areas. The temperature is freezing there. Pelt all Government officials and complain. Our fellow Americans need our help. Please go help clean debris, please donate to Samaritans Purse or a local church in the mountains. These are the heroes now. Please pray.

They need more manual labor and volunteers! Contact churches to see what you can do!

FEMA may not move a trailer onto a flood plsin and that's been determined to be 2' above the Helene high water mark. NC state and counties are requiring electrical inspections and permits for Rvs, camper trailers, tiny houses, and shed- home conversions; thry hsvevto be to current code Then code enforcement on a county by county basis with respect code requirements is requiring nterior, running water, septic or pumping facility, proper power hook-up, and electricity for these temporary structures; this in places where noone has water or power. In one private campground where people rented pre-Helene they are not taking anyone other than tourists; itnismoperatiknal,it is operational, mostly empty. The state and FEMA doesn't want any of these types of teorarynstructjres, outside of tents, traveling on any roads or bridges the state themselves haven't rebuilt; most of the access to the top 2/3rd od the NC was done by private citizens using thier own labor, equipmempnt, amd materials.

Great TH-cam pages… these folks work in different areas but help each other out by sharing heaters, bedding, provisions, camp stoves:
    The Appalachian Channel
    Deep River Farm
    Appalachia’s Homestead w/Patara
All 3 are doing great things in a cluster of communities where most folks are living on their land in tents. 💔

Almost 11 million subscribers and 10 hours after video is released it only has 1124 views and 14 likes , the math is very suspicious!
